Good Queen vs Wicked Queen
"It was the rule if Queen Celeste, the true Queen," Trix voices echoed into the silence as everyone held their breathe. "Queen Celeste was kind and warmhearted but she was also lonely. Yes, there were many suitors at court but the all wanted on thing....power. They didn't care for her or her kingdom, they just wanted the title 'king' added to their names." Trix said her voice loud and clear but her eyes were far away. "There was on suitor in particular, who was determined. More so that he started a war in hopes if forcing the Queen's hand into marriage, seeing that he was politically fit to be king and he was fit to lead an army seeing that he was a general," she said her eyes glazed over. "General Ivor," a faint voice whispered. Trix nodded. "The Queen searched love. The general seeing that decided that the best course of action was to kill her," as the harsh words left her lips, gasps went through the air. A true royal was a person capable o

Queen Beatrice stared at the self made woman before her. Oh, all the perils and troubles that it took to get her were she was. So how could she let some ‘little’ homeless girl take it from her. She was Queen, and she would be Queen until her last breathe. She will be sitting on the throne when the last breathe leaves that imposters mouth.   A soft knock on her door averted her attention from herself. “Enter,” she said softly.   The door slowly opened as her most loyal servant entered the room.   “Symon, its so lovely to see you. Come a little closer,” the Queen said joyfully, raising from her seat and ushering the boy who stood shyly by the door.   In her presence he was instantly a little kid. She was his role model and an excellent mother figure compared to his ‘weak’ mother as he liked to say that died to bring him into the world. The man that had come of age for too long ago, blushed as he steppe

Well its not Cinderella if there's no party!
Lord Kys guided the young ones towards the gate. What laid behind it was unknown to him, for its nature was ever changing. The last time, as he recalled from the as and smoke and the disheveled state of the sole survivors clinging to each other and bruised, it was not good. He was reluctant to tell Trix and Tristan, for he did not want them to worry. They wore obviously quaking in their boots even the stoic, Tristan.   Lord Kys chuckled to himself, he was confident of their survival.   “This is it,” Tristan asked as they paused before an archway, littered with thorns and roses.   Lord Kys nodded.   Trix inhaled deeply. If she was going to die, she would go down with a fight. Also she had gotten away with worse, well not worse but potentially locked away in jail for a good while. She ran her hands through her hair and tried to channel the adrenaline junkie who stole her school’s rival’s trophy from a

Trix patted down her dress nervously as she walked back into the ballroom, fully aware of her environment. She could feel the eyes of her opponents on her as well as the beading eyes of the guards. She raised her chin as she approached Tristan and the half drunk princess. She dipped into a curtsy and smiled as she reached them.   “All is well I hope,” she said but was ignored when a tall rugged looking gentleman intervene.   “Your highness, I wish to extend my gratitude to you for your lovely invitation to the this marvelous celebration,” Trix refused to roll her eyes at the obvious displeasure his voice held.   Rexus was Sapphire born and despised Crimsons. More importantly he was a cold blooded killer, who took pride in his kill. The Crimson Princess and a few Crimson Knights would surely boost his fame and the stench of fear that would go well with his name.   He gently took the princess’s soft ha

Right where we started and a betrayal
15 Trix jolted awake, furiously glancing around with wide eyes. She had returned to her bedroom. Everything as far as she could tell was back in place. Her laptop sat open, a few inches away from her. Remnants of the white powder sprinkled over it. Its screen was dark. Trix rubbed at her face, occasionally slapping herself in an attempt to wake up her brain. She was blinking furiously and her mind was processing everything slowly. She was hungover. She grabbed a water bottle sitting on her bed and drank the entire thing. Once she finished her head descended into a swirling mess. She squeezed her eyes shut and waited for the feeling to go away. Her stomach churned and she felt like throwing up but the vomit never came. "I am never doing drugs again," she promised, holding her now aching head. She took a few moments to read before she decided to check her laptop. It was as she typed her password, she remembered her assignment. She typed faster. She had fallen asleep immediately afte

Book 2, Chapter 1...Dumb Luck and Stupid princes
Have you ever fallen asleep in a car and woke up in a bed? It was quiet the far opposite in Trix's case, wherein she fell asleep on the smooth, visually clean table of a diner and woke up with a face full of mud. Heavy rain droplets beaten down on her body which was covered by a soaked cloak and the mud around her, splashing a lot of muck on her. She raised her head completely blinded by the mud. Raising her hands to her face and dragging her elbows through the mud she managed to clear her eyesight. She wanted to scream so badly at the sight of tall pine trees looking over her, but didn't want a mouth full of mud. She raised up, on all fours and then sat on her heels. She stared up at the dark sky, hoping for the rain to wash her face but as if by a sick joke; the rain fall became minimal. She furrowed her brow and groaned, through her hood over her head and raising to her feet. She spotted her bag in the mud and grabbed it begrudgingly. She then turned and began trudging through
