Eero woke up in an unfamiliar room but knew he was in the higher council as he recognized the wallpaper. He tried to sit up, but felt weak.“Just relax,” he heard Stella’s familiar voice.“What are you doing here?” Eero spat and tried to sit up again. He tried to get off the bed but the IVs he was hooked to jerked back his arm.“You need fluids. I saved you!” Stella forced him to the bed.“Get away from me,” Eero shoved her aside.“I will go get the doctor,” Stella said and was quick to rush off.Eero was about to rip the IVs from his arm when the doctor walked into the room.“Don’t do that. You need fluids,” the doctor stopped him.“How long have I been here?” Eero questioned.“A couple of days,” the doctor said, and checked his vitals. “If you like, I can move you to your own room.”“I would like to see princess Ami,” Eero stated.“Princess Ami?” the doctor frowned and took a deep breath. “I am sorry, but she died.”“Died?” Eero choked not believing his ears.“I am sorry. She jumped

Deacon found Wynn in Ami’s room. “Thought I will find you here.”“I have some bad news. I thought I will come to tell you in person,” Deacon said, pulling up a chair.“I am all ears,” Wynn said.“It appears Paris is a pile of ash,” Deacon said.Wynn was taken aback by the news, but for some reason, he kind of expected it. “So Paris killed Stella?”“It appears so,” Deacon said.“Thanks for telling me,” Wynn said, too worried about Ami to feel emotional over Paris.“I think Eero has something to do with it as well,” Deacon said after a moment of silence.“I think Eero pushed her out of the window and ran off. I think he could not accept the fact that she chose our fated bond over him and decided if he can't have her, no one will,” Wynn said.“That sounds more like Stella,” Deacon said.“If you say so,” Wynn said flatly.“There is another thing you should know,” Deacon started. “Perhaps you already know.”Wynn looked up at Deacon, waiting for him to continue.“Eero kissed Ami, right?” De

Jessica kept on catching Lestat’s scent but every time when she thinks she found him he was gone. Not only did Lestat leave behind a trail of his scent, but Jessica also picked up the fragrance of blue cornflowers. ‘I hope Deacon did not return and think he can win me over with flowers,’ Jessica thought but then she noticed a blue cornflower, its fragrance mixed with Lestat’s scent, and she realized that Lestat was playing a game of cat and mouse with her. Jessica followed the trail of blue cornflowers that led her out of the frat house. She soon found herself in the backyard of the frat house which was quiet since all the students were inside the house getting drunk. Jessica followed the trial of flowers along with Lestat’s scent and wondered why he was leading her away from the frat house. ‘Is he not supposed to be supervised?’ Jessica ended up at a beautiful, modern house that was on varsity property and found herself in the middle of a garden that was filled with a variety of blu

“I guess the fact that Emily was a fated mate, that I claimed, is what made it different,” Deacon explained. “Why do you ask?”“Just making small talk,” Jessica said.“No, no. You are not getting off that easy,” Deacon chuckled.Jessica could not find the right words, so chose to say nothing.“Seriously? You are not going to elaborate?” Deacon chuckled.“Perhaps another time,” Jessica chuckled and pulled her knees up to her chin, wrapping her arms around her legs. “We should have gotten vampires to take us.”“What do you feel right now?” Deacon questioned.“What do you mean? Us?” Jessica misunderstood him.“I mean, do you have any feeling that Lestat is still in trouble?” Deacon questioned.“Oh,” Jessica said and focused on Lestat. “Nothing.”“Michael and Wynn should be there soon enough,” Deacon said, and put his foot on the gas.“I just don’t know what Lestat’s connection is with Torvald,” Jessica said.“Have you considered the fact that a spell was used to fate you to Lestat?” Deac

The girls arrived in class and took their usual seats. Ann took it upon herself to send Deacon and Wynn text messages to make sure they are aware that Jessica is alive and well and in class.Ann also informed Jessica’s very worried parents, Juno and Jovita, and her own parents, that was also up to speed with everything that was going on.“Your father is still not back. He is searching for Eero,” Ann’s mother texted her back.‘Poor Eero. I wonder where he is,’ Ann thought and put her phone away.***News of Jessica being at varsity changed everyone’s plans and thirty minutes later Wynn, Deacon, Juno, Jovita, and Michael were in class.Deacon walked straight over to Jessica and grabbed her by her arm, pulling her out of her chair. “Come with me,” Deacon said.“Hey, you are hurting me!” Jessica protested.“Good morning class. I see everyone has decided to attend today,” Lestat said, walking into class and bringing Deacon to a halt. All the supernatural looked shocked.“I saw him die with
