Chapter 2Teya woke in a fright. Was everything she witnessed just a bad dream? She couldn’t stop the pounding in her head or the fast rhythm of her heart. She looked around noticing she was not at the frat house or in her apartment. She then saw the blonde from last night sitting next to the window as if soaking up the afternoon sun. Chapter 4Three months laterTeya sat on her bed, tapping away at her laptop and thinking of the man she’d spent the past three months with. He sat across from her, watching her work in silence. He’d kept all of his promises. He went back to her after he’d left the hell-house.  And most importantly, the affection had never stopped. He tried to find new ways to show he cared for her each day.It was a bit unreal for Teya. He was way too perfect. It was winter now, so Ken bought a car to drive her to and from work, as well as other places around town. How he could afford it, she didn’t know. Chapter 8Ken waited patiently as Teya showered, contemplating the events that had transpired. The vampire hunters, Allen, his past, and how they were all connected. Markees had investigated his house on a hunch that he was a vampire, but he’d still seen Ken in daylight. That didn’t make sense.
