41. Never Let Go
Alfonso never expected to meet Sasha again, especially not at this moment, when he felt the wine had started to intoxicate his mind and make his body heat. When he laid his eyes on Sasha, he realized she was wearing a very sexy and seductive red mini dress. “Oh, I don’t need a partner, Sasha….” Contrary to his words, he couldn’t tear his eyes off of her body. Sasha giggled. “Your words don’t fit the way you look at me. Didn’t I tell you earlier that you could take me to my bedroom?” Holy moly! Alfonso’s body began to react out of his control upon hearing Sasha’s whisper in his ear! “Let me alone, Sasha. I’m having a bad mood.” He tried his last resort to send Sasha away, while struggling to keep his right mind. Sasha held his face to look at her. “Why do you have to be alone,

42. My Prize
“W-what did you say?” Siena stared at Alfonso with her eyes wide opened. The grin on Alfonso’s face became wider. It felt so good for him to be able to tease Siena again. “Remember your promise, Cherry. You challenged me to break the fourth code. And I did it! It’s time to collect my prize.” Alfonso stepped closer. Siena immediately ran away from him, and hid behind the sofa. Alfonso chuckled, winking his eyes naughtily. “Cherry, you have promised me….” “I-I never promised you anything…. You’re the one deciding the prize for your own pleasure. I never said I agreed,” Siena tried to protest, her heart beating wildly inside her chest. Would Alfonso really dare to force himself on her? Alfonso crossed his hands over his chest. “Then why do you come to my room? You

43. Weak
Siena’s breath caught in her throat as Alfonso abruptly held her waist tightly. Her heart pumped even faster. She could see the desire gleaming in Alfonso’s eyes, especially when he whispered in her ear, “Cherry, it’s time to give me my prize….” “Alf…!” Siena pushed Alfonso’s chest away with her hands, but to no avail. Alfonso was much stronger and alert, not to be compared with the jerk teasing her in Dubai’s night club who could be struck down by her easily. Alfonso chuckled mockingly. “Let’s see if you can smack me down, Cherry….” Somehow he knew what Siena was thinking! “Alf, let me go!” Siena tried to pull her body away from him. “Or maybe I’ll smack you down instead? To my bed?” The next second, Alfonso’s hands m

44. The Fourth Asset
Siena felt her heart beat faster as the pilot of their plane informed they were going to touch down less than ten minutes. The city of Siena did not have an airport, thus they would have to land on Florence first, the neighboring city, and then continued by bus or train to Siena city. Alfonso held her right hand as if understanding her feeling. “You’re not alone, I’m here…,” he spoke with a reassuring smile on his face. Siena wondered if Alfonso could read her mind, because he seemed to know everything about her. But she certainly needed that smile, that touch of his hands. And above all, she needed him by her side. “As far as I know, Siena is a fantastic city, full of artwork and cultural heritage.” Siena attempted to counter her nervousness by changing the topic. “Then you’re going to love the city. You and Grandfather are both ar

45. Help!
Because it was late in the afternoon, Alfonso and Siena decided to visit Safe Haven Orphanage the next day. Instead they spent the afternoon by walking around the city center. Walking was indeed the best way to enjoy the magnificence of the medieval architectures of the buildings. As the sun went down, Alfonso suggested that they visit a restaurant serving Italian traditional food. “I want to eat anything but pasta and pizza,” Alfonso said, as they took a seat at the terrace of the restaurant. The weather was cold, dark clouds covered the sky. It would be too bad if it rained tonight. They hadn’t got enough of enjoying the city view. “What if we try this, panzanella? It looks delicious,” Siena suggested, pointing at a picture on the menu. Alfonso’s eyes widened in agreement. “Mmm, of course…. It does look tempting.”

46. Disappear
Brian’s eyes were pierced on the blonde woman sitting opposite of him right now. Two days ago, when they met in the lobby of Alfonso’s apartment, Gloria looked miserable like a seriously ill person. But now, she was in a better condition. Her eyes were not swollen anymore. She put on some make-up to cover her pale skin, giving a fresher look on her.   “Are you… feeling better?” Brian broke the silence.   It had been more than five minutes they sat in silence. Brian could not tell exactly why Gloria came to his apartment this morning. Since their first meet, they exchanged their phone numbers. Then Gloria called him out of the blue this morning, asked for his address, and showed up in front of his apartment door not long after.   Heaving a long sigh, Gloria shook her head. “I can’t feel any better if I haven’t met Alfonso.”   “Can’t you reach him by phone?”   “He ig

47. The Kidnapper
Siena squinted her eyes, blinking several times because of the sudden brightness after the black cloth covering her head was taken away. The first thing she saw was two tall and large-built men with black glasses standing in front of her. The first man had a black mustache, while the other was bald-headed. They had to be the men who kidnapped her. “Who are you?!” Her heart was drumming vigorously against her ribcage, but she kept the courage in her voice. The bald-headed man put his index finger on his lips. “Relax, Young Miss…. No need to be afraid.” They had just kidnapped her and asked her to not be afraid? They couldn’t be serious! But two things to her relief, they did not point a pistol at her anymore, and her hands were not tied up. Siena observed the two strangers. They wore long black coats, their skins were tanned, and their faces were both

48. Complicated
Carlo’s words kept on ringing in Siena’s ears. The story was indeed similar to her mother’s story all that long ago, how her mother met her father in Gotemba. But did it mean she had to simply trust Carlo? “I don’t even know my father’s name. How can you be so sure… that you do not mistake me for someone else? And how can you expect me to believe in your story?” Siena opened her mouth eventually. Her brain was too flooded with many thoughts. In this situation, denying was a much easier thing to do. “You’re Siena Mori, the daughter of Sakura Mori. When Dad met your mother, she was in her second year of study as a nurse. Then you both moved from Gotemba to Los Angeles while you were just ten years old. You studied journalistic in college, and you worked as a columnist in Angels Daily online media for about two years. You are now twenty four years old.”&nbs

49. A Meeting
“So you want to meet Dad?” Carlo repeated, sounding enthusiastic.     “Yes, I want to meet him…,” was all Siena could say.     Carlo seemed to ponder. “Alright…. Actually Dad asked me to meet you first, because he’s extremely nervous. He’s not a man of many words. And he’s worried you might not accept him.”     “Let me decide it by myself after I meet him.” Siena strived to talk firmly, though her heart began to beat faster.     She did not know what to expect, but enough with Carlo’s story. It was time to face the truth.     Carlo gestured for Siena to stand up and follow him. They got out of the room and walked along a corridor with garden on its left and right side. It was dark and she could not see the edge of the garden, but obviously this house was extremely huge and spacious.

50. In Action
Alfonso glared with his fiery eyes as the two men were approaching him. Light from the street lamps above flashed on their faces. They wore long coats and black glasses. Alfonso was suspicious, from the shape of their coat pockets, they might be also carrying pistols. He clenched his fists, his jaw tensed, all his senses were on alert. One of the men with bald head raised his hand and greeted him, “Good evening, Sir. We have been waiting for you. We come here to tell you that Miss Siena Mori is fine. At this moment, she is in a safe place. We’re returning here tomorrow morning to pick you up, and bring you to meet Miss Mori.” ‘What did he say?!’ Alfonso cursed inwardly. All his blood boiled at once. ‘Dammit! How dare he talk to me like that, while I have been searching for Cherry everywhere in panic!’  “Where is Siena?” Alfonso’s voice was lou
