Chapter Thirty-Two: REBUILDING THE PACK

Prior to my father and brothers leaving, I hugged them. While walking home, I noticed that many of our pack members were bowing to me. As I stared at Nicolas in curiosity, I wondered what was happening. "You made quite an impression with the magic that won the war," he smiled at me. "It was pretty amazing to watch it." As I walked, small children embraced me and smiled at me. The pack members embraced me with permission. What should have taken five minutes took two hours. After a long night of barely any sleep, Nicholas and I were exhausted. We have an enormous pack to take care of.
