Chapter Thirty-Two: REBUILDING THE PACK

Prior to my father and brothers leaving, I hugged them. While walking home, I noticed that many of our pack members were bowing to me. As I stared at Nicolas in curiosity, I wondered what was happening.

"You made quite an impression with the magic that won the war," he smiled at me. "It was pretty amazing to watch it."

As I walked, small children embraced me and smiled at me. The pack members embraced me with permission. What should have taken five minutes took two hours.

After a long night of barely any sleep, Nicholas and I were exhausted. We have an enormous pack to take care of. We showered and put on fresh clothes, and then left for the hospital to see those who were wounded from fighting in the war.

During the next few weeks, I interviewed to get a female beta to help me with my workload. According to tradition, the Beta's mate was the Beta female. However, I wasn't brought up with werewolf pack traditions, and we haven't found our beta's mate yet.
