CHAPTER 40
The catgirl, who was standing atop a small flying podium, followed the events of the golem race. Announcing every trivial detail that could be seen from the gigantic monitor hovering above the empty arena, every eye from the bleachers was now fixated on the happening of the participants that were dashing towards the Forsaken Lands wherein the Forest of Lamentation could be found. Gasps and cheers occasionally resonated from the bleachers unlike the beings from the tents of the royalties. Maleficent placed her chin atop the back of her right palm as her right elbow was placed on the armrest. Her glowing green eyes scanned the surrounding tents and their tent as well, she could only think of one thing – disinterest. The royalties from the three worlds were not the slightest interested even when most of the heirs of the royals from the three worlds joined the competition. Cent saw the royalties from the ambivalent and they were only talking w

CHAPTER 41
Get the fuck up, Merlin! Or I swear I will let Hunger and my slaughter butterflies have you as their dinner! Black painted nails dug against the armrests of Maleficent’s chair. Though calm and devoid of any emotion from her face and collected façade, her anger was reaching its limit within her. The shadows inside her trembled to the point wherein she could feel the fluttering of her slaughter butterflies that were loitering around the floating island. Cent also felt the distress signal of Hunger, asking her unconscious mind on what to do with the being riding him all of a sudden which was not part of the plan. She knew that Hunger was suppressing his desire to unleash his real form and chew Damon, who was now riding her familiar – leaving the stumbling Merlin without any golem to race. Cent closed her eyes for a second, her mind calling the slaughter butterflies within the vicinity of the Forsaken Land. On cue, she felt the flutte

“We have this hall and we stuck by that weird canteen?” Cent wandered her onyx-colored eyes around her and was dazzled by the extravagance of the dining area where the headmaster led them. And by them, it means, the royalties and the participants.Five long ebony tables lined with lavish foods prepared already. The flying piglets with their freaking small wings loitered around the grand hall made her think that they were supposed to be on the plates rather than carrying the trays. Chandeliers made of gemstones hung above them and a fucking orchestra played in the background which made her wince. She did not like these kinds of things.Matilda snorted. “Sometimes I wonder, girlie if you are really a student in Transylvania Academy.” The dry tone of Matilda’s voice to

“You want to join the party, son of Michael the Loyal?” The mockery laced upon the voice of the man hovering above Cent dripped like honey amidst the blanket of darkness. The glowing embers of crimson hue gleamed towards the angel, who was standing a few feet away from them. On instinct, Cent followed the scalding gaze of Damon and she almost flinched when her glowing emerald eyes met a chilling pair of gray orbs.Damn, Apollo Sky! What are doing here? Ruining my plan? After Merlin summoned the corpses within the Forsaken Land, which was quite a lot, his other attribute was revealed—barrier magic. Wizards and witches were born with two types of magic—the innate magic and the creation magic. The innate magic was the magic with them right after they were born, while the creation magic was the type to manifest using powerful will and desire to create something out of nothing.

CHAPTER 44
The sound of a palm hitting a cheek resounded inside the empty halls of the pristine building. The roar of the thunderclap muted the ensuing festivities outside the prestigious Transylvania Academy along with the bolt of lightning that lightened up the darkened room, wherein two figures loomed against each other—the first one was kneeling before the other party. It was a common scenario for those who were standing behind the grand doors of the room wherein the two people were confined to ‘talk’.“I told you to win! Is it that hard to do? You are my son! Doing this should be easy, yet you lose to someone with unknown origins, you pathetic son of mine!” A clean-cut silver hair glinted against the zap of light from the single bolt of lightning. With his wide back against the windowpanes, his gray eyes were the only thing that glowed against his darkened silhouette along with his silver hair.Michael

“How quaint,” said Maleficent. A set of emerald orbs glowed against the moonlight sheen as a couple of butterflies withdrew from her arms. Droplets of blood trickled down her hands as she stood up and strode towards the balcony of her room.Because for once, the moon will be seen outside my balcony. The presence of the thick cluster of clouds followed by thunderclaps and zaps of bolts of lightning was not hovering the Forsaken Lands – thanks toClad in her chemise that fell right into her ankles, her bare feet trudged against the carpeted floor. The moment she stepped foot outside the balcony a zap of a bolt of lightning illuminated the darkened balcony for a split second, a pair of albino red eyes met her glowing green ones – this elicited a sweet smile from Maleficent.“Hmmm.” Tilting her head, she crossed her arms before her. “Congratulations on winning the first round. You are ind

“What the heck are you blabbering abou – ” Before his lips could touch hers, a whip of shadow shackled Levi – knocking him cold in a matter of seconds. The shadows hissed and whirled around Levi’s unconscious state as if it was making sure that he would not pose anymore ‘threats’ towards Maleficent, who was left balder dashed by the turn of events. From Merlin to Levi? What is wrong with people? Cent massaged her temples as she drew a sigh. Waving her hand, she commanded the shadows to bring him back to his room. “Take him away.” She turned back to the moon and sighed for the nth time of this month. “And here I thought I could enjoy this night with the moon. It truly sucks to be surrounded by centuries-old walking relics.” Maleficent decided to leave the comfort of her balcony and forget the ghastly memories embedded during the night of the first day of the Tri-World Tournament.

Anyone would think that they did the thing when Damon languidly added the words ‘like what you did last night’. Whispers among students from different dormitories ensued to the point that Cent was one hundred percent sure it was not a whisper anymore – they intended it for her to hear. Standing in front of the grand bulletin board, Maleficent the Glutton and Damon the Prideful were the center of attention – rather than the bulletin board. “Oh my! Is the rumor about them true?” “I told you so. Damon pays too much attention on her.” “What about Sylvia?” “No. What about Ariel?” Words kept on surging, that it started to tick her off rather than the fact that Damon was staring down at her with unwanted interest. Screw this morning drama! Maleficent bumped into Damon – her left shoulder bumping into his right arm as she clasped Matilda’s bony wrist without even sparing the students

Seeing that Sylvia and her team just arrived meant that when the spell was cast down, they were not within the premises of the floating island and they were here because of free will. Maleficent’s gaze kept on wavering as she stared at the trio – no – her gaze wavered and her jaws clenched as she stared at Angelo, the angel she killed. His lilac eyes and snow-like blonde hair paired with his arrogant smirk as he walked towards the cluster of students drew every attention of the student towards them. “Hmm. Interesting.” Damon muttered under his breath, his hands on his pockets. Cent did not mind Damon. Judging by his reaction, he was not the one behind this. She observed Apollo Sky in her peripheral vision. “I do not know what you’re thinking about but no, I don’t know that he is alive and how he came back to the world of the living,” said Apollo Sky. He sensed her underhanded gaze at him. Maleficent shrugged. Her rave

The loud thud of the eerily silent office brought disturbance to the calm infernal green flame that was the only source of light in the darkened room. The heaving intruder stammered as his small wrinkled fingers seek the support of his trembling knees. “Y-Yo-Your Grace! We have a problem with the lady!” A pair of fist-sized eyes glistened upon staring at the silhouette that was standing near the fireplace. Upon the mention of the young lady, the unbothered look of the man changed into one hundred eighty degrees in a matter of split-second. “What happened?” A sinister pair of glowing emerald orbs looked down at the sweating goblin that seemingly stopped breathing upon meeting the eyes of his master—the demon lord that controlled the darkness of the three worlds. “Th-The second game of the Tri-World Tournament is held today and of course since the young lady said that she did not join any game in the duration of
