Nicole's pov.My eyelids fumbled at my first attempt to wake up from the deep slumber. I don't know how long I've been asleep but I was already tired of it. "Nicole..." Nicole's pov."Thank you" I muttered and he rolled his eyes. "It's nothing, Nicole. We can go home now so you can get some sleep" His voice sent chills through me as his palm came in contact with mine. "Damon!! I'm the one that wanted the bear! You clearly mistook things..." Nicole's pov.I bashfully dropped my hands on my thighs and stared at his face which the light from the screen of his phone was reflecting on. He's starting to look cute again. I mean, very adorable. I suddenly felt a stir towards the corners of my abdomen and I realized it was the baby moving again. It must have heard his father's comment too. I resumed to messing with his hair and he kept resisting but I was sure he liked it. "You're welcome, jerk. How did you know I was the one who cooked?" I asked curiously and he smirked. "Nanny did call me and explained how urgent the situation was but I was too tired to drop by a restaurant. Surprisingly, your annoying àss cooked the meal for me.
