The smell of the salty sea air brought back memories of her time in Maldives on one of her trips with her husband, Asier. They had saved up for a long time, taking overtime work so they could go on vacation. At that time, Dawn had just changed jobs. From working at a restaurant to being a Phlebotomist to being an Author. She was at a point where she realized that she couldn’t keep still. She had plenty of interests and could not focus on one for a long time. She was lucky enough to have a husband who continued to support her even if there were times when she was too much. There were days when she would feel down all of a sudden, questioning her worth. After the game, the group dispersed. Some went back to swimming, some played more of the guitar while the others sang along.   “Who do you think the girl is?”   “He just said she’s not in our year level.”   “Could it be a Junior?”   “Hmm.. possibly. Who do you think seemed like she would suit him?”   “I’m not sure. Given how particular he is about things, he probably would choose someone who could be on the same level as him.”   “Like one in the honor roll, you mean?”  

They stood outside of the Speech laboratory. Their voices echoed in the hall. Oscar was rather good in math as well and knew that Dawn’s method was the right one. But the way she explained it was really easy to understand. “You got it.. The others are the same.. Uh--I have to go. I still have to stop by the library..” “Okay.. Thank you..” Dawn nodded, her eyes formed into crescents. Janus and the previous girl had a love-hate relationship before. The girl had affection for him as was expected of a family member but because they’re close to the same age, there were times that she was just being bossy and he was just pushing her buttons too much. They acted just like how siblings are to each other. 

When classes ended, she called her mother to let her know she’d be delayed for a little while. “Ma, I’ll stop by at Aria’s house. I’m having her and Valerie read the rest of the draft for me so I could check if I need to change something. It won’t take too long. They’re almost done with it.” “Alright. Just let me know when you’re almost here so I can have Anita pick you up from the bus stop.” “Okay. Ma..” They then ended the call. The rest of their friends got dropped off and the three of them went to Aria’s house.
