Getting Revenge
It was gradually getting bright outside and it was cold too. I was panicking a bit but I didn't want it to show so I don't get questioned by Antonio. I know he told me to trust him, but I just have a really bad feeling that something extra huge would happen and not the good type. Would Antonio get badly hurt? Will Frank help us catch Renee? He should, I mean, won't he want his freedom from a psycho? What if she escapes? "Claire, did you forget I can hear your thoughts?" Shoot! I forgot that. "Shh, I'm trying to..." He paused for a second and I knew for a fact that he just had a vision. But why didn't I get one too? "Claire..." He began with a deep serious voice. "Can you do me a favour?" His eyes were focused on the road but I could tell how hard they were in the dim light. "What favour?" "Well, since you missed my birthday a few months ago, how about you do this as a late birthday present." A scary smile was playing on his lips. "You'

How it all went down
Matt   So, things can get a lot confusing. What I do want to understand is why my kid can't have a normal life filled with a lot of happiness and stability.   Alright, so after Claire and Antonio just up and left us at the beach, we tried to run after them since it seemed serious but they left in a flash and they took the jet. Abigail and I had to wait or call them, but since they weren't picking up, waiting it was!   The jet finally came back for us and as soon as we got to Raleigh, I received a text message from Jacey, asking us to come to the hospital.   You know how it is, I had a billion emotions and not one made sense. Is Claire hurt? What about James? Why the hospital?  Why so early in the morning? What the actual hell happened?!   All my questions would be answered at the hospital, so I had to keep myself calm and take myself and my beautiful fiancée to the hospital.

Good to be back
Claire (For the rest of the book)   I was floating; I couldn't see, I couldn't feel, just floating. Where am I? Who... who am I? Would I be able to see again? Would I be able to... I saw a light, it was small but it was all I needed. I was staring at a ceiling, feeling so lost, I couldn't move. Then it came flooding... all my memories, everything. I could remember my childhood with my parents, the joy I felt when I heard my mom was pregnant after I was an only child for ten years, the sadness and loneliness I felt when my Dad left, then having to deal with Frank's abuse, mom dying and Dad coming back... Everything after that, including how I disliked Abigail, meeting my Aunt and Cousin, encountering Frank in the old house where he could have harmed me if Nicholas wasn't there. There were bits that didn't add up, but then I could remember how I discovered my psychic abilities when I read my mom's dairy and got transported to the past, I al

Standing Up for Tessa and Missing Memories (A)
I decided to let it go for the mean time. After all, Frank deserved to be in jail for being abusive... Yet, Mom's dead anyway and I'm the only other person he was abusive to, if I forgive him, what's the point of him being in jail? Does Dad know Frank's James birth father? What do I do? "Tessa has been so gloomy, she's barely eating and always crying... It affects James too." Abigail said sadly. "Well, she's his sister and even if he had just met Catherine, she's still his family. Catherine was..." I stopped when I noticed the shocked expression on their faces. They didn't know? How have they been together for two weeks and they don't know? "Tessa is James's sister?" Dad asked. "Yes, she's Frank's daughter from his first wife. Catherine was his cousin and she raised Tessa." "James knows about this? You... you know?" Dad sounded so hurt that I couldn't figure out why and his thoughts were jumbled up, making it hard for me to read them.

Standing Up for Tessa and Missing Memories (B)
I was still thinking about this when Abigail knocked lightly on my door and came in. "Hi!" "What's wrong?" She had a kind of nervous look. "Nothing really, I just wanted to make sure you're okay." I laughed at her. "You guys worry a lot, why won't..." I stopped when I felt a pain in my head like before. I guess this is the down side of being a psychic, I get to deal with frequent headaches. "Are you alright?" Abigail was on the bed next to me in an instant. "Yeah, just a little headache." "Don't stress yourself, rest more. Come on, under the covers." I grinned like a little kid and obeyed her, getting under the covers. "Yes, Mom. Will you read me a bedtime story?" "Don't tease me." She said, laughing. "Get under the covers too. You want to make sure I'm okay, right?" Just saying those words made my head ache again. What's wrong? "Are you sure you're okay?" Abigail asked as she studied me, in-betw

Antonio's Help
When I got to my room, I was relieved to find that it was empty; I really didn't want Abigail to see me like that. I made for my bathroom and shut the door, flopping down on the floor. Did I want to remember Jason? Of course I wanted to but I had no idea how. Shouldn't I have a bonus psychic ability that can help me search for missing memories? When I lost my memories the other time, I found my mom's dairy and unlocked a new ability. But now... 'Seriously? You found your mom's dairy?' I was startled to hear someone's voice. But I was alone in the bathroom. I opened the bathroom door to look into my room but no one was there. The only other person that could communicate with me using telepathy was Jacey; but this voice was not hers and it's very obvious it's via telepathy. 'Okay yeah, you found the dairy but you needed my help to get to it, you couldn't even move.' The voice said again. 'Who are you? W-where are you?' I asked telepathically. So, yes! M

Silvia Bernal and the Birthday (A)
It's my birthday? I pulled away to check my phone, it was really the second day of April. I'm sixteen!I crushed Antonio in another tighter hug, excited."I'm sixteen!""You sound like you've waited a long time for that, even after you skipped two whole years." I ignored Antonio's teasing and got off the floor."I'm happy because I finally remember Jason and now that I'm sixteen, my Dad won't mind me dating some..." A knock on the door interrupted me."Uhm, Claire? Can we talk?" It was Jason. I made for the door but Antonio blocked my path. Great! They still had a beef."It's not about that, trust me." Antonio said in a whisper. "You've regained your memories, I have no reason to stay mad at him, it wasn't even his fault to begin with. I'm stopping you because you can't tell Jason you remember him. Pretend you don't remember him, I have a reason." That's crazy! I just hurt his feelings out there and two weeks ago, I was about to tell him how I feel about him, why do I have to stop now

Silvia Bernal and the Birthday (B)
"Claire?!" I turned away from Jason to Aunt Miriam.Uncle Mark's family was all the distraction I needed to get my mind off Jason... and his lips. Well, at least for the meantime.Kevin was an adorable kid, he looked every bit like Aunt Miriam and Jane tried acting a bit mature to impress me, but she was still the cute little girl I know. Of course they were glad to have me, especially Tyler, it wasn't even as if I've been in a coma for years, they acted like I've only been gone for a week.Uncle Mark was happy Renee got what she deserved but he didn't know about my abilities, none of them did and I wondered why Dad didn't say anything. There are family after all."You ready to go? Mom's expecting us now." Jason whispered to me. I was playing dress-up with Jane and Aunt Miriam."Yeah." I apologized to Jane and Aunt Miriam, I had to promise to return before they let me go and I was back in the car with Jason."So, you said your Mom lives with her dogs, right?""Yeah.""Did she explain

Silvia Bernal and the Birthday (C)
"Claire?! Wait!" I didn't listen to Jason, I kept walking until I got to the car. He caught up to me."What happened? Are you okay?""I want to go home. Can you take me home?" I avoided his eyes."Yes, but what really happened? Did my mom say something...?""Just forget it. Like I said, I'm tired." He exhaled and unlocked the car. We both got in.I didn't say anything while he took me home, I could very well feel his eyes on me, but I kept my eyes away from him all the time."Look, I'm sorry about my Mom, I'm definitely sure she said something to you. She can be a little uppity sometimes but..." Oh, he got that one right."Don't apologize, she didn't do anything wrong.""Oh, okay." We were quiet for a few minutes more. I knew what Antonio expected me to do, break it up with Jason; and the easiest way to do that is when he thinks I don't remember him. I didn't want to, I really didn't want to but Jason has a lot planned out for himself and I'm just a roller coaster of drama and danger,

Dealing With It!
"That went well." I stilled when I heard Antonio's voice behind me. What was he doing in my room? "Did you forget I can tell the immediate future? I knew the surprise would be ruined and you'd lock yourself up here." Oh, well.I sank to the floor and just hugged my legs. "You're sad, I get it. But look on the bright side...""There's not bright side here, Antonio. I love him yet I told him to get lost. Who does that?!" I hugged my legs tighter. Antonio came over and sat next to me."I don't know what to tell you, all I see is you spending the next two years missing Jason while you figure your life out." Two years?!"It's going to take that long?""You can't see your future?""I can't see anything, my abilities are messy right now. I can only tell the present and read someone's mind.""I see. That's probably because you haven't healed completely from the accident." I sighed."That's not important to me. I'm going to spend a full two years without Jason? Will we ever get back together?
