Chapter 23 Alanis has a new gift

Alanis POV Jeremiah and Alpha Sebastian load the truck while I watch from the porch. I always enjoy watching Alpha Sebastian do anything. He always looks happy, smiling, and talking with people when he is not worried about his pack or me. Right now, he is only loading the truck; when we leave, he will worry about his pack and me. Dustin brushes me as he goes down the steps. I can hear something coming from him, like on the inside. It is strange. I feel screams and then something cold, maybe sharp. The images are blurry as I feel the pain coming from him. "Alanis, what is wrong?" Alpha Sebastian asks me. I suddenly realize I am lying on the ground, looking up at the clouds. Alanis POVI fall asleep beside my sweet Alpha. I am peaceful and content when we are together. For the first time in my life, I feel like I am in some sort of control.
