Chapter 11
Since the day she discovered the hidden safety locker, Aesthelia has been wandering around the mansion every night, desperately trying to find another hint and some strange things that might actually benefit her. She's hoping for such a diary to appear out of nowhere. She examined in every corners of her room for something like the key. Everything else on the floor belonged to her. As either a result, the key must be concealed somewhere. Aesthelia was startled by a knock. When Aesthelia realized it was already morning, she gasped. She didn't get any sleep. Aesthelia quickly did what needed to be done, and the next thing she knew, she was in the carriage on her way to meet the high-ranking wolves. Days had already passed when she was demoted to omega rank, well, temporarily. The hearing was delayed so many times that it got to the point where Aesthelia received harsh treatment and even death threats each day. It's interesting how quickly those people s

Chapter 12
The wind was getting stronger and stronger; the trees and tall grass swayed with it. It seemed like a peaceful place, until Aesthelia and Gior arrived with some tools.  They were given a lighter punishment by Alpha Rou when they came back from the infirmary, and that was to clear a certain part of the territory.  "Stop doing it half-assed. Do it properly! " From afar, from the other side of the forest, Gior shouted. He was busy cutting some of the trees so they could make an open field in this area.  "Mind your own business, Gior! If you just shut up, we could actually wrap things up before the sun sets down, "Aesthelia responded back with the same tone, as she swept the ground more forcefully. She's assigned to remove rocks and small grass.  Aesthelia thinks this is better than being an omega. She didn't want to go through that again. Her thoughts were interrupted by another booming voice.  "Then, quit slacking off,"

Chapter 13
Aesthelia was breathing heavily. She doesn't know what's going on in her surroundings, but one thing is for sure: she's with Gior. When Aesthelia doesn't feel another person's presence, she tries to open her eyes to see her surroundings and find Gior. Aesthelia can still hear the sound of the rain. When she finally opened her eyes, she was greeted by Gior's face, who was trying to take care of her by checking Aesthelia's temperature and keeping the fire going. There are no more dry leaves and twigs inside the cave; they're running out of it. Gior hissed due to the fact that Aesthelia's fever kept on rising. given by the time that they went inside the cave. Gior should have dried up by now, but no, he was still soaking. He was dripping, and it looked like he had gone out to find something even though it was raining heavily. It was a good thing he had found some herbs nearby.Aesthelia groaned in pain as she felt like her head was cracking

Chapter 14
Aesthelia found it hard to shift in her sleep as there was something that prevented her from moving and turning over. She snuggled closer to it as she felt the warmth ease the cold. Aesthelia's too sleepy to be bothered by whatever it is. Her body was exhausted, and while her eyes were still closed, she tried to recall the events that happened yesterday, thinking that was the reason she felt worn out. As she refused to open her eyes, she found herself comfortably wrapped in someone else's embrace. Aesthelia furrowed her eyebrows as she started to let her hands roam around. That's when both of her hands landed on a broad, muscled-stoned chest. In an instant, Aesthelia sat up straight with her eyes wide open. She just touched the breathing thing. There she was greeted by Gior's sleeping face, and his arms wrapped around Aesthelia's wais

Chapter 15
The authority has been placed over Aesthelia for several days now. It wasn't pleasant at all. She had to wake up early in the morning, and now she had to train a hundred wolves without even knowing what to do. Aesthelia was clueless. She was even thinking that she could propose yoga, but, of course, that wouldn't work either. These wolves like to use their claws and they like to draw blood. Aesthelia doesn't have any idea what kind of training they do. She attended the assembly twice; the first one, a duel, and the second one, a hunting event. Aesthelia wore a comfortable suit. She asked her human servants to make her a modern t-shirt and pants. It was a new fashion, so everyone looked at her weirdly, but she didn't care. Her sweats rolled down her face as she kept shouting at those wolves who were slacking off. They don't train seriously. They find it hard to obey a word that comes from Aesthelia. Wolves are prideful beings. They felt much bet

The training lasts until it gets dark. Aesthelia granted some of the wolves' wishes for a sparring session. She paired them according to their strength and ranking. Aesthelia sat back and watched carefully as the wolves moved at incredible speed and fought like they were on a real battlefield. Well, werewolves can heal faster than normal human beings, and plus, their salutary skills are excellently skilled. So they don't have anything to worry about, except if anything goes wrong and they end up going for each other's throats.Aesthelia shook her head, silently complaining. Why did she have to be assigned to manage this stubborn creature?"Did you see that? That's amazing! " A wolf cheered from the crowd. All of them were having fun, watching in envy. To Aesthelia's surprise, it caught Aesthelia's attention. She stood up unconsciously when she saw a spurt of blood. This was a fight between women; she anticipated that they would take it seriou

The night has passed by. Aesthelia's eyes saw the light that came through, which meant that the sun had already come up. Vampires have always been sensitive to the sun. They can't withstand it, but if they have enough energy or drink enough blood, they can. They can roam around freely underneath the blazing sun.Aesthelia was trying to distract the vampire with their conversation all night. It was a success because it was already dawn. No one came to rescue her until now, though it might actually be hard to find her. Aesthelia was still hoping that the others could smell her scent at least; that's the only trace of her being there. "What do you say, Ivan?" Aesthelia asked what his answer was to her proposed deal. She said she would lend a hand in assisting his purpose of breaking through the territory. She learns that his name is Ivan.Aesthelia was curious, even if she was faking it. Even if it was convincing enough, the vampire was he

Chapter 18
The silence engulfed the whole place, the library overwhelmed with the smell of book pages. If Aesthelia knew that this place was the most relaxing one, she'd be here all the time. She felt like dancing through the clouds as the books piled up.Since the day Aesthelia was abducted by a vicious and dangerous creature that they needed to be wary of, she spent her time inside the library searching for more about the wolf spirit. Aesthelia was given days off as a trainer, and Gior has been filling in for her for a few days now.Aesthelia was so fascinated just by imagining what happened back then. She couldn't believe what she saw. It looks divine and pure; no wonder she can't rid herself of the image out of her mind. 'I need to stop spacing out,' Aesthelia thought as she slapped her cheeks to keep herself in focus.Aesthelia abruptly stood up, which startled the other bookworms in the room. No one dared make a sound, not until now. Aesthel

Chapter 19
The three stared at the empty hallway before them, and just like that, it was empty once the clock passed 9 o'clock. Aesthelia was the one who initiated taking a step forward, and the two followed after. The creaking sound on the wooden floor can be heard whenever they are taking steps. "What are you planning, if may I ask?" Gior whispered as they approached even nearer the library's door. For some unknown reason, he had this urge to stay with Aesthelia, especially when he saw this young lady standing on the railing of her balcony.Aesthelia was perplexed as to why they were breaking in through the door; was this what they meant by "politely sneaking" when they could break in through the open window, but it would be difficult with three of them. The window was too small compared to the buffed wolves she was with.Gior was puzzled as to what was interesting in that room. Everyone's allowed to enter the library and read books as much as they can

Chapter 20
After a moment of silence, Aesthelia found herself staring way too long as the train of thoughts ran through her mind. That is why she decided to keep that piece of paper without saying anything else to the two people she was with. It's a good thing the two didn't seem to push the topic further. "Why did it get here?" Aesthelia asked herself that question. She remembered everything Flo had said about the traveling merchant who spent his time traveling from one location to another with the book itself. If that book was from somewhere outside the pack, why would a piece of it be inside this library's restricted area? It is a mystery that she has to unlock. She just hopes to find some clues or so.Now is not the time to dwell on it since they have limited time to wonder around here before others notice. It worries Aesthelia, even though the whole place is empty. Aesthelia began to explore one more time to find anything useful and effective in sum
