Ethan placed the cup of coffee on the table next to where Pierre was working."Pierre, I don't get what you said earlier," Ethan said, still bothered by what Pierre told him."I meant what I said, and I am not exaggerating," Pierre answered as he kept himself busy on the task."You see, my father is not that kind of a man he is."Pierre looked at him. "He's a great father to you, Ethan. He's a good man even.""Then why?""You cannot battle business with kindness, Ethan. Your father almost failed in his business because he followed his heart. It only took some time until it hardened, and he started destroying others."Ethan did not know

Wick parked his car outside the Palace Towers.“Go straight to the parking lot in the basement,” said Ethan as he roamed his eyes around, looking for signs of Joseph.Wick proceeded to drive down the basement, find an empty spot and parked right there. Ethan and Chrystyn unbuckled their seatbelts.“Why are you still sitting there?” asked Ethan pertaining to Wick. “Come with us.”Wick unbuckled his seatbelt, took the car keys, and locked the door.“Why are you inviting me?” Wick asked as they started walking towards the back door of the building.“I wish to cook something for you as my way of saying thank you.”

Ethan woke up. Not from the sound of his alarm but the knock on his door."I have prepared breakfast. Let's eat," Troye said, smiling. His eyes were roaming around Ethan's bedroom."I am sorry it was such a mess here. I did not have the time to clean up," Ethan said as he picked up the clothes that were on the floor."Well, then. I will be waiting for you downstairs."Ethan smiled as a response. He tidied his things up a bit – arranged the clothes, segregated dirty and clean clothes, placed back the stuff where they belonged. He picked up Chad's jeans. It was still in a pouch. Instead of finally throwing it, he opened the cabinet and placed it there. They were once in a good term, yet he has not had the chance to return it. And now that they're on bad terms, it seems impossible.Where did he even get my number?Picking up his phone, he sat on the edge of his bed. He revisited the messages and reread Chad's message.

As Ethan was about to open the door, the other end had already opened it. "Troye? I said I was just quick."Troye tilted his head and showed him the time. "It's been twenty minutes. I'm sure returning that bowl doesn't even take 5 minutes.""Yeah, we had chatted a little. I'm sorry I did not keep track of the time," Ethan said as he sat down on the couch and patted his lap. "You said you wanted to sleep on my lap. Come here."Troye placed his head comfortably on Ethan's lap. He felt Ethan brushing his hair, and so he did close his eyes. "This is heavenly."Ethan kept brushing Troye's hair, and he leaned his head on the couch. Little did he know he fell asleep. He woke up from the smell of the dish that was given by Chad earlier. He looked down and saw that Troye was not sleeping on his lap. Following the smell, he knew it came from the kitchen. There, it was Troye who was reheating the food with his apron. His broad shoulders move elegantly as he s

Ethan bought apples on his way home earlier. He placed it into the counter and sliced some. He received a message from Chrystyn as he asked how did the university handle the issue.I’d like to tell you personally. I’ll go there. He replied. Are you okay now with going out? Another reply has been received.Yes. Also, Wick is with me. Don’t ask why. Ethan smiled and laughed as he read the text message. He knew that Chrystyn and Wick looked good together, but he did not anticipate that they would be forming a bond this fast. Indeed, everything is meant to be.There would be a lot of things to catch up to. And they need to prepare for their return tomorrow. As he waited, he prepared snacks and drinks, opening the fridge. He noticed that some snacks he bought were missing. Instead of getting inquisitive, he just let it pass instead. He placed the food right into the table in the living
