Chapter 11. Loyalty
“Oh man! Gray! Are you okay?!”Leon looked at his friend and finally felt relieved. He’s been searching for two days in the forest. Gray left without leaving a single message and hadn’t return for many days, thus ignoring all of the consequences, he just geared up and went into the forest. Sierra narrowed her eyes and asked Gray, “Hey, you know this new kid?”“Yes, Miss! Rest assured, he’s my only friend I mentioned before!”Hearing this, Sierra finally lowered her bow and continued to sit down silently. On the other hand, Leon was frozen still while looking at her. He wondered who was she and how Gray knew her. However, he knew that looking at a woman for too long was rude, and so he lowered his eyes and walked quickly to Gray’s side.He proceeded to examine his friend’s condition thoroughly. Except for his dirty appearance, Gray was pretty fine, so Leon exhaled a long breath and hit his f

Chapter 12. Exit
Gray finally woke up around 9 a.m. He searched for his surroundings, but couldn’t find his friend, Leon. He was not fully awake yet, so he thoughtlessly greeted Sierra, “Guh mowning~” Just like before, Sierra didn’t want to wake him up, so she just waited patiently.Hearing Gray’s greeting, she couldn’t hide her surprise and looked at him with annoyance, “Am I your friend? Watch out how you greet me, kid.” After that cold scolding, Gray was so embarrassed, so he decided to wash his face with water.  “Um- I haven’t fully awake before, Miss. And, I didn’t mean to disrespect you…”Seeing his sorry state, Sierra just brushed it off quickly, “Forget it. Now tell me, how’s your condition today? You’ve been sleeping for a pretty long time.”Gray decided to move his legs and body. He even stretched it a little to find out that his condition was quite good. He repo

Chapter 13. A Mother's Affection
Sierra sat down in the white, soft passenger seats. The interior items there were from the highest qualities and coloured in white and gold, but honestly, it didn’t match with Sierra’s taste. The owner looked like they loved to show off their wealth. In the end, she decided to ignore the owner’s awful taste and sit silently. Gray decided to sit in the driver seat along with Leon. From inside, Sierra could hear their conversation, even though they tried to concealed it. “Leon, how could you get your family’s carriage?” He asked in concern. “Hm? What do you mean? I’m the only heir, so naturally this carriage belongs to me too.” “Gosh, stop joking! Your mother won’t be happy with this!” Gray slapped his friend’s back. He already knew ever since he was a child, every parent in the town didn’t like him at all, especially Leon’s mother. Well, he didn’t blame her though… No one would like it, if their children hanged out too much with a strange, poor kid like him. T

Chapter 14. The Things She Wanted
In the morning, she woke up with soft knocks on her door. She reluctantly got up from her bed and opened the door. “What is it?” She asked. Uncle Ten’s wife went into a daze as she looked at her guest.  It was not that she didn’t notice about her beauty, but what made her shock was Sierra’s long silver hair. Her hair complemented the fair skin perfectly. Then, her face had the characteristics of an elegant yet fierce young woman. Her beauty would definitely make every woman jealous. Seeing the guest furrowed her brows a little, Uncle Ten’s wife quickly spoke with a trained intonation, “Dear customer, it’s a part of our daily service to provide a bucket of water,” she intentionally raised the wooden bucket higher. Sierra blinked silently and made a way for the attendant. She put it on the table and went outside, “Ah!” She looked at Sierra and said, “If you want to have a breakfast, please go downstair faster, Miss. Otherwise, you will miss our inn’s speciality.”

Chapter 15. Foolish Kids (1)
Sierra walked in relaxed manner towards Gray’s house, following that woman’s direction. Although she was the one who didn’t want to see him anymore, seeing the townsfolks attitudes towards him made her heart soften a little. She wanted to see his conditions and then go back to her inn. From the distance, Sierra could see a small house. The roof had already been patched up way too many times and even the walls were starting to crumble. She sighed and felt a headache was coming. Standing in front of the door, she knocked it a couple of times, but got no response. He probably went out, she thought. She turned her back and walked a few steps before she finally heard a sound. Apparently, it came from the back part of the house. She decided to wait for Gray to come outside by himself and sat down on the wooden bench. From her place, she could see a big maple tree, swaying because of the wind. The rustling gentle sound from the leaves was really sooth

Chapter 16. Foolish Kids (2)
As soon as he reached the town, Leon directly went to the butcher’s house and presented the herbs. He even repeatedly told the couple to thank Gray later as he was the one who obtained all of it and even got injured at that moment. That night, the couple was really thankful as they promised him to reward Gray nicely for his good deeds. Not even once did they express their gratitude to Leon. Thus, he didn’t doubt them at all and after that, he went straight to his house to get the carriage. The rest of that night was already known. However, this morning, when Gray cheerfully went to their house, what welcomed him was totally unexpected. He intended to get his payment, but unfortunately, in the end, he didn’t get anything. Not even a thank you. That couple even shamefully slandered Gray in front of their customers. “Useless!” The wife said, “How dare you ask for a reward when you failed to bring the herbs!!” Gray argued a

Chapter 17. A Blessing
“You know if you’re joining the military, you can get the money and honour at the same time.” Sierra’s black eyes were so clear as she furrowed her eyebrows, trying to talk to the young boys in front of her.“Soldier?” Gray echoed her word. “I never really think about that. What are the requirements, Miss?” He asked curiously.“The most important part is bravery.”Hearing this, Gray nodded his head as he evaluated his own bravery. Ever since he was a child, he already went into the forest to hunt with his master. After his master’s death, he hunted into the forest alone and even dared to go to the deepest part of it. He killed many small monsters too. So, for him, the word bravery was already rooted in his heart.“The next thing is martial arts which you’ve learned for years.”Hearing martial arts, Gray once again evaluated himself. Indeed, he had trained for years

Chapter 18. Connection
Time flied so fast that it had already been a month since Sierra stayed at North Alania. The townsfolks had already noticed her presence in the town and they were really curious. However, they found it hard to communicate with her because of her cold personality. She usually would only nod her head as her greeting to the townsfolks. Also, she never started any conversation with them unless it’s necessary. Many people, especially men, were mesmerized by her beauty. They would swarm over the inn for hours only to look at her passing by, making Uncle Ten’s wife really delighted. They even had to hire another attendant because of the crowd. On the other hand, Sierra was certainly disturbed by them. And so, almost every day she would take out the foods and bring it to Gray’s house to eat. At least, there were only two persons here that would bother her. The last man that tried to stalk her ended up in trauma against fire, so the rest of the men here immedi

Sierra went into the same shop where she sold her rough diamond before. Upon entering it, the old man was excited and welcomed her, “Ah! Chapter 20. Progress (2)
A month turned into two then three. Without realizing it, Sierra had stayed in North Alania for over than four months. All the attentions that she got started to go down bit by bit, meaning that Uncle Ten’s wife became disappointed. There were a couple of soldiers and merchants who flirted with her, only to be ignored coldly. She definitely didn’t have time to entertain some people, especially those who were younger than her by hundreds of years. The words of her being a master of Blessing also spread around, even reaching the neighbouring towns. There were some rich children who begged her to be their teacher. She only snorted as she always answered, “You’re mistaken. I’m not a master at all. If you have that much money, it’s better for you to go to the academy.”The rumours must happen after she unwillingly helped the city to maintain their array months ago. She did it half-heartedly since Gray and Leon bugged her too much. &
