Lahat ng Kabanata ng Blessings of The Sun: Kabanata 11 - Kabanata 20

Gray finally woke up around 9 a.m. He searched for his surroundings, but couldn’t find his friend, Leon. He was not fully awake yet, so he thoughtlessly greeted Sierra, “Guh mowning~” Just like before, Sierra didn’t want to wake him up, so she just waited patiently.Hearing Gray’s greeting, she couldn’t hide her surprise and looked at him with annoyance, “Am I your friend? Watch out how you greet me, kid.” After that cold scolding, Gray was so embarrassed, so he decided to wash his face with water.  “Um- I haven’t fully awake before, Miss. And, I didn’t mean to disrespect you…”Seeing his sorry state, Sierra just brushed it off quickly, “Forget it. Now tell me, how’s your condition today? You’ve been sleeping for a pretty long time.”Gray decided to move his legs and body. He even stretched it a little to find out that his condition was quite good. He repo

In the morning, she woke up with soft knocks on her door. She reluctantly got up from her bed and opened the door. “What is it?” She asked. Uncle Ten’s wife went into a daze as she looked at her guest.  It was not that she didn’t notice about her beauty, but what made her shock was Sierra’s long silver hair. Her hair complemented the fair skin perfectly. Then, her face had the characteristics of an elegant yet fierce young woman. Her beauty would definitely make every woman jealous. Seeing the guest furrowed her brows a little, Uncle Ten’s wife quickly spoke with a trained intonation, “Dear customer, it’s a part of our daily service to provide a bucket of water,” she intentionally raised the wooden bucket higher. Sierra blinked silently and made a way for the attendant. She put it on the table and went outside, “Ah!” She looked at Sierra and said, “If you want to have a breakfast, please go downstair faster, Miss. Otherwise, you will miss our inn’s speciality.”

As soon as he reached the town, Leon directly went to the butcher’s house and presented the herbs. He even repeatedly told the couple to thank Gray later as he was the one who obtained all of it and even got injured at that moment. That night, the couple was really thankful as they promised him to reward Gray nicely for his good deeds. Not even once did they express their gratitude to Leon. Thus, he didn’t doubt them at all and after that, he went straight to his house to get the carriage. The rest of that night was already known. However, this morning, when Gray cheerfully went to their house, what welcomed him was totally unexpected. He intended to get his payment, but unfortunately, in the end, he didn’t get anything. Not even a thank you. That couple even shamefully slandered Gray in front of their customers. “Useless!” The wife said, “How dare you ask for a reward when you failed to bring the herbs!!” Gray argued a

Time flied so fast that it had already been a month since Sierra stayed at North Alania. The townsfolks had already noticed her presence in the town and they were really curious. However, they found it hard to communicate with her because of her cold personality. She usually would only nod her head as her greeting to the townsfolks. Also, she never started any conversation with them unless it’s necessary. Many people, especially men, were mesmerized by her beauty. They would swarm over the inn for hours only to look at her passing by, making Uncle Ten’s wife really delighted. They even had to hire another attendant because of the crowd. On the other hand, Sierra was certainly disturbed by them. And so, almost every day she would take out the foods and bring it to Gray’s house to eat. At least, there were only two persons here that would bother her. The last man that tried to stalk her ended up in trauma against fire, so the rest of the men here immedi

A month turned into two then three. Without realizing it, Sierra had stayed in North Alania for over than four months. All the attentions that she got started to go down bit by bit, meaning that Uncle Ten’s wife became disappointed. There were a couple of soldiers and merchants who flirted with her, only to be ignored coldly. She definitely didn’t have time to entertain some people, especially those who were younger than her by hundreds of years. The words of her being a master of Blessing also spread around, even reaching the neighbouring towns. There were some rich children who begged her to be their teacher. She only snorted as she always answered, “You’re mistaken. I’m not a master at all. If you have that much money, it’s better for you to go to the academy.”The rumours must happen after she unwillingly helped the city to maintain their array months ago. She did it half-heartedly since Gray and Leon bugged her too much. &
