Samantha I was excited about going to the cabin. It was quite surprising when Alex told me we were going back to the cabin. I had planned to run away that very day to avoid luna Michelle's wrath. I had almost lost my life the last time. I doubted if I would survive another attack. Ophelia was quite clear on that. I wasn't so thrilled about Mason joining us, though, but Alex must have had his reasons. As much as I wanted to be with Alex, I was reluctant to let him in. I still don't trust him yet. I did not like the fact that the goddess would want us to be together. The whole thing was wrong. I shouldn't feel amazing around Alex. I shouldn't want him, but I did, and I felt weak for it. Samantha The next day was surprising. I walked out of the room to find Mason, Robert and Alex messing around in the kitchen trying to make breakfast. The last time Alex tried, he made a mess, but now the mess had tripled. "What is going on here?" I asked. Alex walked to me and kissed me. "Good morning Sam," Robert and Mason said, still trying to figure out what they were cooking. "We didn't want you stressing this morning," Alex explained, "So we felt we could handle breakfast." "And how is that going?" I asked, pointing at the mess. "Not perfect, but wait and see," he said and asked me to sit on the couch. The breakfast was ready. Almost burnt toast, scrambled eggs, canned baked beans and crispy bacon. Looking at the ensemble, I knew it was last minute. "Where are the scones," I teased, and Mason looked away. I said and tried to close the door. One of the hefty men held it open for her. I was too exhausted to fight back. "I will pardon your disrespect." She said, stepping in while the bully held the door open for her. I was getting angry, but Helena warned me not to get into a fight because we were still exhausted from what we did for Mason. So I calmed down. "Who are you?" She asked, looking around. I didn't answer. "No one disrespects the Alpha and the beta family," she said, turning to look at me. "Clearly you are a wolf, so you know our laws, and you know the property belongs to the Yellow moon pack, so I have the right to be here." I still didn't respond. Samantha The next day was slow. None of us was thrilled about the day. Alex and I spent the entire morning in each other's arms. I had no appetite although what I had done had left me completely weak. I didn't want Alex to know, so I pretended I was okay. My vision was a bit blurry. Helena had let me know it was part of the effect. I was a young wolf, and soul sharing was usually done after claiming so we could draw on each other's strengths. I couldn't draw strength from Alex even if he claimed me because Spirit wolfs don't mate with Werewolves. Mine would be the first-ever, and so, I had no clue how our bond would work. Alex couldn't mark me until I was twenty-one years old according to werewolves laws. I couldn't tell him to do otherwise because they believed I was a werewolf. As things were, I might be too weak for him to claim me for now, and I did not know the effect his claim would have on me. These were uncharted grounds, and I had to be careful. Alex   What happened to me during the battle was amazing. I had never felt that much power before. I was told that my fur had golden coloured highlights and my eyes were bright. The description reminded me of Sam's wolf. The light that exploded around me was the same as the one that Sam's wolf shot out of her eyes. Her wolf had only put them to sleep then, but when the same power worked through me, it killed everyone it touched. How did Sam transfer her abilities to me? I knew wolves became connected when they mated, and they could feel each other wholly, but never had I seen wolves merge features. I needed to talk to Sam about it. I hoped strongly that whatever she did was not harmful to her and her wolf. I loved her for doing everything within her power to keep me safe, but I w
