It's a bright and snowy morning but I feel horrible. I put both of my hands on the side of the sink, breathing heavily. The vomiting would not stop. I often feel lightheaded even when I just rested all day.    Ambrose said that I'll feel better if I take the pills and rest. So I did that in the past few days yet I haven't felt any better.    I stared at the tray of food on my bedside table. I have no appetite but then if I don’t eat, my body will be weak. The castle appeared to be quieter without Gideon around. I just found out that Sage is no longer available since he had been busy with tending to his sick mother. I was left with the three silent ones so here I am in my room, lying in bed. So much for not being dead yet. The howl of the cold wind made my skin shiver as I yelped from my sleep. I looked around in panic to see where I was. It was wet beneath my feet, my knees shivering to stay up. I was panting but all I inhaled was the horrid smell of moss and decay. My sight landed on the metal bars across me, they were rusty and old. Now, I’m sure that I am locked up in the basement inside one of the cells.     “Help me!” A weak voice whimpered, her soft voice echoed inside the cold room.     I narrowed my eyes to see clearly whose voice was that. My sight was blurry for a moment, I couldn’t recognize a thing. I blinked twice to let my sight adjust and there, I saw who it was.   

The sound of metal swinging made me jolt in surprise. I could almost hear my heart racing so fast. My sight bore at Sage who was pushing the cell door open. On his grip was a tray of food, the smell of egg and bacon filled my nostrils.    He fed me again and made me drink water. It turns out that the violet fluid is some kind of a drug to weaken my abilities. It also makes my body low in energy. Sage has told me that they had to drug me to keep my powers controlled but I knew better not to believe them; they were only feeding me lies.    After Sage fed me up, he locked my cell again. A few seconds later, I heard his footsteps approaching the stairs into the castle.
