“What?” Ricky gasped when he witnessed Zephyr strike down one of his men in one easy swipe. That man was an Agile of level one, everyone was baffled as to how he could have been beaten so easily. “It’s over for him!” Aiden gasped as his body shook. His tone implied thoughts knowing that that man was a goner. Even an Agile of level five had trouble when they encountered Zephyr, much less an Agile of level one. Were Ricky to initiate an attack to come into blows with Zephyr, Aiden would greatly doubt Ricky’s success in it.“You’re not too shabby!” Ricky was startled, though not too pestered. He coldly looked at Zephyr as he displayed a sense of pride all the while. “Is this your doing?” Zephyr asked angrily. “Indeed, I sent him. Who knew someone with a Strength of level nine such as yourself could harbor such power,” Ricky said. He stared at Zephyr for a moment before continuing on, “You ain’t too bad, if you were, that’ll be boring…”Before Ricky could finish speaking, a blast of soun

’She’s not with us?’ Zephyr wondered curiously. “All you have to do is muster your energies on the field, and the trial will end shortly after!” The Academy apprentice explained the situation clearly. On the field, there stood about a hundred or so Academy apprentices. Each was strong in their own right, and all were taken seriously. They were no mere apprentices, they were initiates! The group was made up of initiates! Zephyr was familiar with their strength, each of them were as strong, if not stronger than Shaun Lee. ‘That’s the Academy for you!’ Zephyr thought, wondrously.…As Zephyr continued on with his observation, a beautiful figure stood atop a peak, a mile away. She was dressed in white robes, signifying her purity. Although she was only seventeen or eighteen, her luscious body and attractive features were enough to put any man into a frenzied hungry state. However, the aura she emanated was intimidating, and it scared most away.“Sister!” a voice rang out, disturbing the

“What luck Erik!”“Damn it!”“You’re lucky!”The Elders clamored once more, annoyed at this development. It would seem that the Elder in question was Erik Chavez, head of the Beast Peak! The Beast Peak was a strength-oriented path. Their initiates were strong and destructively powerful. The man on the field was obviously strength-attuned. No one had any reason to steal him away from Erik. Seeing the Beast Peak and Oriental Peak be able to recruit such great initiates had made the other Peak heads become more frantic. They would not let them continue on like this.As the trial ended, the blue-haired girl was called over by Elder Lucia, while the man from Brass was heckled by Erik. Many stared at them with envy, even the initiates. There was a good chance they would become disciples, faring better than initiates. The trials continued as usual. After a few rounds, only two had made nine rays of light. Not many were accepted as an initiate. Apart from the Oriental Peak and Beast Peak,

An Academy initiate took out a book and spoke, “Reporting to all elders, the results from the talent test have been all recorded here. One hundred and nine fighters have been promoted to an Academy initiate. Out of them all, one had eleven light beams, twelve had ten light beams... and one had two light beams.” Everyone turned to look at Zephyr at the mention of two light beams. Even the elders on the scene were shocked. Vert Murray was in the hall as well. He stood behind an elder and looked at Zephyr with a piercing stare. Compared to the other elders present, he had a better understanding of what Zephyr was capable of. A talent of two light beams was undeniably useless. Yet, there was also no denying Zephyr had won in a fight against Shaun. The final blow — Lightning Spear — was especially powerful. So how was it possible for Zephyr to have a talent of only two light beams?Zephyr’s current circumstance felt very awkward, to say the least. Under general conditions, based on hi

Maxim and his group of initiates quickly raced towards a mountain peak. The top of the mountain was shrouded in clouds and mist. The closer they got to the mountain, the more they could feel powerful energy exuding off it. The group of initiates was made up of Zephyr, Yang, and five others. Each of the five was equally talented and amongst the seven of them, there was only one female initiate. Along the way, none of the five initiates paid any attention to Zephyr. After all, it would not benefit them to waste their time on a talentless person. The same thing could not be said for Yang though. However, Yang had the same cold personality as Maxim, so he did not really join in their conversation. What really puzzled the five others was the seemingly close bond between Yang and Zephyr. When did the strongest of them all and the weakest of them all become such good friends?“Don’t mind them. I’m sure even with your abysmal talent you’ll become stronger if you’re willing to train hard,‘
