Chapter 31: Just A Coincidence
  *   "Well, if that's the case then I'd like to buy this facility." I said dropping that bomb.   "What??" Both Mandy and the said together.   "I know that arrogance anywhere." Stacy said coming out.   I was having way to much fun than I was supposed to, I mean, it's just a reunion. Right?   "What?" The girl said again.   "Stacy, what are you doing here, you shouldn't be moving especially now." Mandy said running towards the older woman.   "Let me go child, if you still don't get it then you're worse than I am." Stacy said.   I can't believe she recognised me with just my voice. I was about to say something when...   "It's all those rich people who was to take everything from us." Stacy said.   "What?" It was now my turn to be surprised.   "I

Chapter 32: Just Help
 * I got back to the hotel that night with alot to think about, from the bad dream I had on the plane to the situation concerning Stacy and Mandy to how the letters they claimed they've been sending disappeared. I picked my key card at the front desk and headed straight to my room, I made sure no one was following me and I also made a request at the front desk to turn off the cctv till five minutes after I got into my room to avoid being tracked. I took off my jacket placing it neatly on the chair beside me, walked into the kitchen and found a complimentary wine on the counter as a VIP guest. I picked a wine glass from the cabinet as I filed the glass, my bags were in my room so that was where I finally settled down, first I placed a signal blocker that I had Francesca build me on the table. It was about 10:45pm now and the children must have fallen asleep, I should

Chapter 33: Just Another Guy.
 * I woke up the next morning refresh, ready for a day of relaxation. I got up around 6am, brushed my teeth, put on a sport bra, some leggings, my smart watch, and a phone holder, ready for a morning run. I left the hotel at about 6:30am and jogged around the block twice before extending my walk a bit. I ended up at a park close by where I rested a bit by doing some stretches to loosen some knots in my back. I looked at the time and it was already 8am on a Friday morning, a few people were already at the park. Most of them stretching like she was, some were walking dogs, some were practising yoga while a few were just sitting down randomly enjoying the view. I was about to leave when I saw an elderly lady pass by, I couldn't help but notice the guy in a black hoody shadowing her, I decided to stay a little and make sure the woman was safe. That was literally my job.

Chapter 34: Just A Kid.
 * The coffee shop was actually better than I had expected it to be. The French toast was good and I would definitely comeback for another cup of capachino. I ended up ignoring everyone that came into the cafe as I ate. My plans today were simple, visit Stacy and Mandy and get the full story out of them. I have to take Stacy to the hospital and find out what's actually wrong with her, just freezing up one day out of the blues isn't normal at all. Something must have happened that even Mandy knew nothing about. I paid leaving something extra for the waiter, I really did enjoy the service here and I was able to keep Philip busy too, what more could I ask for. On getting back to my hotel room, I opened the door to what I suppose was the dumbest and most intense staring game ever.  "Eh... What is going on?" I asked hanging my coat by the door.

Chapter 35: Just a Volunteer.
 * "You're Gay!" I said out loud. Maybe a little too loud. Cause' they panicked, the girl fell off the table and Mandy tripped over her chair in her failed attempt to stand up. "Fuck! Who the hell-" Mandy started but stopped on seeing me. "Adira?" Mandy said in disbelief. The girl she was making out with stood up slowly trying to nurse her new found pain, as she turned around to notice me. It was Grace, the girl from last night. "That's Adira? She's prettier that I had imagined her to be. Wait?!? Are you... The both of you... Tell me it isn't true." Grace started ranting while Mandy was still in shock. "Grace. Grace! Shut up and get out" Mandy snapped. "What?! I'm right then, aren't I? What the hell Mandy?" Grace started with tears in her eyes, I felt like I needed to intervene in this misunderstanding bu

Chapter 36: Just Broken.
  *   It had already been three hours since the surgery began, the doctor had earlier assigned a room to Mandy after she passed out so she could rest a while.    So now, I was now the only one pacing to and fro in front of the operation theater with hopes that the doctor would come out soon with some good news.   While waiting I slowly succumbed to the darkness that filled my eyes and I eventually fell asleep on the steel sits.   A few more hours later I woke up, I checked my phone and saw that it was around 3am, the next morning, I cant believe the operation lasted this long. I noticed the blanket around me, it could probably have been a nurse or maybe Mandy, but that didn't matter now.    After an extra thirty minutes of waiting, the operation room light went off and a few minutes later the doctor came out. I stood in front of him immediately waiting

Chapter 37: Just A Friendly Match
*"Just Broken."Those words resonated in my head as I walked back to my hotel, but not after I had planting a hard punch on the face of that idiot just now.I walked back to my hotel, and straight into my room, thankfully none of the guys were around or I would have vented all this pent up anger on the two.So, I immediately got changed into something more comfortable and strode off to the gym above where I would let out my anger in another form of working out.For hours I ran, I hit the punching bag multiple time, I lifted weights, anything to clear my mind but they weren't working, then I decided that it was time to visit some other old friends.I went back to my room to freshen up and put on some fresh gym cloths with a black hoodie and a face mask on.I picked up my phone and called Phillip, I needed a new car since I left the other one with Mandy and her Mom. And not to my surprise, Phillip proved himself to be quiet useful, he told me tha

Chapter 38
*I made sure to see CJ home before I went back to my hotel room, and immediately I burst through my bedroom doors I laid flat on my face.I was exhausted and I didn't even have the energy to take a shower, but one thing was for sure, I was happy.I flipped over facing the ceiling this time with a smile and a breath of relief I haven't had in a long time, I was home and there were still people who loved me who weren't even family, but they were my family.I watched the ceiling until I was consumed by a comfortable silence around me and I fell asleep."It's been a while." I opened my eyes and found myself in a field.I looked around towards where the voice was coming from, I turned around and found a young boy standing in the direction of the sun."Who are you." I asked."Ow Rude much, how can you forget your brother." He said turning around.I felt tears well up in my eyes as I saw in front of me,

*"May I have a sit?" He said."You... I know you?" I said taking off my glasses."Woo, you don't look so good." When I realised what he was talking about I hurriedly put on my glasses.I felt embarrassed and immediately picked up my bag to leave but I was held back, I looked at my hand and saw that Mr Volunteer held my wrist like it was glass."Please, don't go." He said as I looked into his eyes."And why shouldn't I?" I asked being extremely annoying even for myself."Well, for starters, because you're causing a scene." He said and I looked around seeing people stare at us.I sat down feeling defeat for the second time today, I glared at the man in front of me who just sat there smiling."What do you want from me?" I asked confused and annoyed."Your time." He said simply.I rolled my eyes, for a lecturer and a volunteer he behaved very naíve and childlike, I was still suspicious of him but right now I just needed to relax and get

Chapter 40
*After the argument with CJ, I had just realized that I agreed to fight for him and his gym, not a decision I regret but a decision I should have thought through to begin with.I went back to my hotel room to find it spotless, Phillip really did a number on this place, I wandered into the kitchen and also found a freshly cooked meal, with a note by the side: I might not be the best cook,But a balanced diet is great for the mind. Please eat this instead of your junk. Thank you.Phillip. It was so cute how he wrote those words down on a small piece of paper neatly cut. I sat down in a position where I could see the tv and turned it on.I turned on the news channel to see what was going on while I was dealing with my own dramas and catastrophes.'In the past few days crime rate has been as unstable as it has ever been in area V, a few days ago we reported a group of gang members found beaten half
