ALIA. After my training session with Jenny, I head off to Stella’s house. I promised her I would meet her for lunch so we could spend time together. Aside from that, I’d been wanting to ask her many things regarding the mate bond and the rejection — things I was not fully aware of. Although the Goddess had been generous enough to give me my wolf back, a part of me worried that if I made another mistake, I would lose Sky or someone dear to me forever. And I couldn’t take that risk. I needed to dig deeper into this subject because, no one had really taught me that this mate bond was something sacred. I grew up believing that I could go both ways — as a fated mate or claimed through the Claiming. Maybe because my parents were chosen mates, or maybe because my father had too many things on his mind that he had totally forgotten this part. But if I wanted to guide my future pups about this, I needed to know more. "Mom, can you tell me more about rejection?" I asked Stella while she w

CASPIAN To say that I was shocked by Gavin´s action was an understatement. I never knew this man could disrespect someone but to leave my sister alone out of nowhere at their own party didn´t sit well with me.  What the fuck was wrong with him? I watched as Alia followed him out of the ballroom, the crowd was looking as Alia kept calling his name but he never once looked back.  Before I could approach my sister outside the Pavillion, Gamma Aaron took her already and they drove off to follow Gavin. "What happened?" In seconds, Alpha Jacob was already beside me.  "I need to follow them, I think there´s been a misunderstanding. I don´t quite understand as well." I told Alpha Jacob as I took my car key from my pocket. "I´m coming," Alpha Jacob stated and I just nodded my head. "Me too," Riley added, and as much as I hated this man, I would rather have him away from Andrea at this point. "We'll take my

'I love you, Alia... I promised to be a better man,' I told her in our mindlink as I dropped my gaze from her while tears started to trickle from my eyes. I fucking felt so emotional right now knowing that I almost destroyed our bond because of my jealousy. Alia was also a mess as she kept squeezing my hand, trying to stop herself from hiccuping from her soft sobs.  Elder Garett snapped the black rope around our wrists and melted it on the fire sitting on the table beside him. I really wanted to pull Alia in my arms but the ceremony was still ongoing. "It's time now." Elder Garett patted my back and I nodded as a reply.  I wiped the tears from my eyes with the sleeves of my clothes before cupping Alia´s face to wipe all the tears on her face with my thumb. She chuckled softly before helping me wipe off all her tears. We then held each other's hands and let our fangs extend, both of our eyes were whirling black as we let our wolf out

6 MONTHS AFTER THE BETA UNION GAVIN I was standing by the balcony at the training building watching my beautiful mate walk side by side with the Luna as they made their way back from the Day Care Center. It´s been six months since the day that Alia was welcomed by this pack as their Beta Female and I couldn't be prouder at what she has accomplished in such a short time. The Luna and her were inseparable.  The only time they would agree to separate ways were on times when the Alpha and I demand time from them. But I wasn't complaining. Just seeing Alia settled comfortably in this pack put my mind at ease. I could no longer see the Alia who spends most of her days hiding in her bedroom. Instead, I saw an Alia who would eagerly converse with the pack members or play with the pups she met everywhere. She was thriving here, in my pack, with me. My female. My Alia. If you asked me if I would rather meet Alia in a different circu

ALIA My eyes wandered to the scene below me as I stood on the balcony of our bedroom. The ground was buzzing with pups, and it was a fantastic way to kick off the summer. Gavin was still in the shower. I had no idea how we wound up in our room in the middle of the day, but it was nothing out of the ordinary. After all these years, we still couldn´t get our hands off of each other, that we would always sneak away to give in to our desires. The years just made the sparks grow stronger as the love that we have for each other. I was snapped out of my thought when I heard Catherine shriek with delight together with Marci
