บททั้งหมดของ THE BETA IS MINE: บทที่ 31 - บทที่ 40

ALIA "Get up! You´re wasting your days lounging here in your room. There are many things to do outside, Alia." Caspian said in a calm tone while he drew the curtains open.  My eyes squinted as the sun´s rays touched my skin, which prompted me to turn around and bury my face in my pillow. "Don´t make me drag you out of your room. Two days of holing up here are more than enough." He was standing by the end of my bed now, arms on his waists as he looked at me. "It´s too early, Cas. It´s 6 AM! Let me sleep!" I grunted at him through the pillow. "I'll go down later." "No. You need to come out now. I have a busy day and I don´t have time to check on you later." He pulled the blanket away from me, but not completely, just up to my waist. I saw his expression soften when he saw the big shirt I had on me but it returned to stoic in an instant.  I wondered if he knows who owned the shirt. I lazily rose from laying down and sat

ALIA I hurriedly walked-ran to the stairs up to the 3rd floor. My heart was pounding hard that it was the only thing I could hear right now. I couldn't wait to get my hand on the package. As soon as I entered my room, I slammed it closed and headed for my dresser. I carefully picked up the package I placed under my pajamas and positioned myself in the middle of my bed. I had no idea what I was expecting but I was hoping my hunches were right, that there was something more on the package and not just his shirts. I spread the package open and lifted the first shirt.  My eyes widen at the sight of a neatly folded paper stuffed in between the first and the second shirt. How could I miss this? I immediately grabbed it and placed it on my chest like it was the most important thing in the world. Maybe it was. Gavin made this. Tears started to trickle down my face, preparing me for what I would read. This would either brea

JAKE Clair was straddled on my lap while I nibbled and sucked her neck, enjoying the little time we get from sneaking between work hours to satisfy our cravings for each other when I received a mind link from Matteo. He was assigned to lead the patrol by the border. I pulled away from Clair´s neck, eliciting a low groan from my mate but when she saw my eyes flecking white, she just scooted her body on mine and rested her head at the crook of my neck, resting her palm on my chest. 'Our warriors from Alpha Caspian´s territory have just arrived. But they have Gamma Carlos and Lady Alia with them. I already allowed entrance since they were in the same car as Markus and his mate.' My forehead creased, what were they doing here, and why Caspian didn't inform me ahead of time? Clair must have sensed the change in my mood, she pulled away from my neck and tilted her head to look at me. With a brow arched she cupped my face with one hand, confusion wri

ALIAI was expecting that Gavin would introduce me to the crowd as his mate but it didn't happen. Although I was trying to cheer myself up by reminding myself that we still have things to patch up and clear out first, I couldn´t help myself from being disappointed. I thought he was happy to see me but maybe I read him wrong. But regardless, I kept my promised and behaved myself that night.I saw him glancing my way but he never approached me at all. And those instances that I tried to reach him, he would suddenly disappear. I was starting to get annoyed already with his sudden change of mood. It was like we have this invisible tug of war, constantly pulling each other just to withdraw back. This has to end.The rest of the evening went on like that and I was thankful that Daniella was around. She was with me the whole time since Markus was hanging out with the rest of the warriors. I wondered if they have a habit of leaving their mates to be with th

GAVIN A low growl escaped my throat while my whole body convulsed as I ride out my own orgasm. I haven´t had this strong and satisfying release in the past weeks that I felt my body was totally spent tonight. With my breath still hitching, I let my body collapse in the bed, taking Alia with me. She whimpered in my arms and scooted into my chest, her own chest was still heaving but she has a wide grin on her lips that all the misery and longing I felt these past weeks have gone out the window. I snaked an arm around her and pressed her body against mine that we ended facing each other, with my one leg wrapped on her thighs. "Was that worth the 13-hour drive? Did I satisfy you, little mate?" My voice came out hoarsely, throat still dried from our adventure. "Hmmm... Very much satisfied, Beta." Her eyes were beaming as she gazed up at me, her finger raised to trail my lips as she unconsciously parted her own. She had no idea how seductive she loo
