Chapter 70
It is time, I am currently standing at the edge of the council’s head-courters. Reed drove me here and stopped just short of them knowing we were there. It looked like a basic government building. Grey sided building with white windows and dark grey roof. It looked like it was one story but we both know the levels of basement that it came with. There was two armed security guards standing at the door and you could see multiple cameras scanning the area. The whole vibe of the building was deceiving as we knew what true horrors lies within. If a human found this building, they would thing it a normal government building that they were not allow to access. Only wolves could sense the darkness, blood and terror within these four walls. “Last chance to head back” Reed said quietly as we both stared. “You should know me better than that by now” I said without even looking at him “Yeah, I do but I wouldn’t be doing my promise to Wyatt by protecting you if I didn’t t

Chapter 71
It was what seemed like hours before I heard the door unlock. I saw all five council men enter the room. By the time they arrived, Raven had healed my current wounds and ready for more. We took a healthy dose of some medicine the doctor said will help me heal faster but I was getting antsy not knowing what was exactly about to come. They all lined up and took their seats directly in front of me. Mason came up to me and took my gag out of my mouth and went back to his seat. I tried to moisten my mouth as best as could to get the fabric taste out.Grant signaled everyone to be quiet and he pressed a tape recorder and started recording us.“This is Grant with the four other council members here to question Nina McCoy on the fraud and money laundering of her pack.”“Old pack!” I interrupted“Silence! You will only speak when spoke to!” Turner said slapping his hand on the table“As I said” Grant kept goin

Chapter 72
I jolted awake as my cell door opened up. Mary stepped in and had a tray with her. She placed it on my cot as I sat up and rubbed the sleep from my eyes. Mary had sat down on the other end of the cot and dangled her legs as she waited for me to eat. I saw scrambled eggs, toast and some lumpy looking stuff which I am assuming it is oatmeal. Grabbing the mush, I leaded against the wall and began to eat. “Can I ask you a question? Mary asked quietly “Go for it” I said between bites “You don’t have to answer, I am just curious.” Mary said as she played with the loose string on her shirt. I waited patiently for her to decide if she wanted to ask or not. “I overheard the council men talking last night. They were talking about you and how you are suppose to be our queen but instead you are under their mercy. I just I am wondering why you don’t just put them in their place?” She asked nervously. “Fair question.” I started trying to decide the right wa

The next morning, I woke up to Mary entering my cell again but this time she was supporting a black eye.“WHAT HAPPENED!” I yelled. I went to sit up and my whole body protested. Everything was stiff and cracked as I moved.“They came in last night and I was cleaning the room to make sure there was not finger prints or blood marks. Mason saw me and said I took to long to do my duties and hit me. It’s okay though, I have had much worse. This will heal in no time!” Mary said matter-factly.“You act like it is no big deal for you to get hit?” I said sadly.“This is my reality. That’s why I helped you. I knew what was going to happen but if you can bring a stop to this, I will do whatever I can to help!” She stated firmly. Mary sat breakfast down and sat down herself waiting for me to eat. It was the same stuff as before.“I am going to eat a nice juicy hamburger when I get out of here!&r

I drifted in and out of consciousness catching glimpse of the events around me. Every time I started to see things again, the pain of all my broken bones and injuries came back full force pushing me back into darkness. It was all I could do to even catch the glimpse of what was happening. Mary had been caring me, basically, as we ran to the check point. I remember watching her fall down and yell out in pain but I could remember from what. Justin’s face was something that jogged my memory as well. He was running towards us as someone from behind him was covering him with gunfire. Next thing I know, I am in the back of a vehicle on my back and my shirt was ripped open. The cold air attacked my open wounds. I hear the whimpers of Mary somewhere beside me. Looking around, and not being able to find her was hard. Was I imagining that? Or was it me that was whimpering? The bumps in the road hurt like a bitch every time they hit one. Hearing someone yell ‘faster! Faster!’

Chapter 75
As the doctor left the room, Wyatt walked over to the couch and lifted up a bag and brought it to me. “I packed this for you. I knew you would wake up eventually so I came prepared.” He said like it wasn’t a big deal. “Oh, thank you!” I grabbed the bag and unzipped it. Bumping out the context of the bag revealed a pair of black shorts and a baggy t-shirt. The shorts were mine, they stopped about an inch below my ass but the shirt was his. I held it up to him with a questioning expression. Wyatt looked down and shrugged his shoulders. “I saw the injuries you have, I figured a baggy shirt was good so it didn’t rub against any of them. You have a decent cut under your breast so a bra was out of the question.” Using my index finger, I motioned for him to come closer. He obeyed and I grabbed his shirt and planted a soft kiss on his lips. After about a minute, he pulled away. “This will be a long week for me to keep my hands off you. Go get dressed.

Chapter 76
I felt the bed shift and causing me to roll on my back. Groaning, peeking through my eye lids, Wyatt was trying to be quiet as he answered a phone call. He was walking quickly to the bathroom and shut the door. He must have been trying to be quiet but I still woke up. I slept the best I have ever slept I think! However, just that rolling had every inch of me aching. Damn, this soreness is no joke. I tried several times to use my arms to pull me up against the headboard but failed. Okay, I can do this! Two more tries later, I finally got it. I pulled a little on my stitches and that is what Wyatt saw when he finally came back out, me looking down my shirt. “Your tits haven’t changed any, still there!” he joked as he started the coffee pot. “Funny, I was making sure I didn’t rip a stitch out as I sat up. They look like they are dissolving anyway.” “Here, let me look” Wyatt said as he came over to me. I pulled my shirt up and grabbed my boob, lifting it

“Love, I know you want to get up and just be normal again but you need to heal if you are going to defeat them. And before you jump down my throat, no, I did not know about the time frame and attack. That was news to me. I haven’t exactly been working in the office lately. Reed has been doing all the heavy lifting so I could stay with you. Actually, other than the warriors, no one really knows what is happening. They know something is brewing though…” Wyatt trailed off. He had moved to the bed and was trying to comfort me. I appreciated it though but I am not sure how I could stay in bed all day. I feel so guilty and weak. Failing is not an option though. That much, I am sure. Kelly is right though, I need to be at 100 % or as close as I can get to it for this fight. “I think I need to make the video before my cuts heal too much. I want to show everyone what happened to me. With that, and my message, that should be enough encouragement.” I said thinking out loud “Tha

Blackness was all I saw. No lights, no sounds or feelings. Just blackness. The scent of steak attacked my nose causing all my other senses to awaken. Next came my hearing as they were soft and gradually got louder and louder. Ugh, I did not want to be awake right now! The food smelled amazing though. “Nina, time to wake up and eat” Wyatt said as he shook me gently. “Ugh, do I have to?” I asked in a whinny voice. “Yes, princess now open those eyes!” “No!” I said stubbornly. Suddenly the smell of steak, lettuce, cheese and many other things penetrated my nose causing me to open my eyes and lean back. Kelly had stuck a bowl of salad with steak cut up in in under my nose. “How about now? Are you awake now?” Kelly smirked. I just rolled my eyes at her and glared but hungrily took the bowl and looked for a fork. Wyatt handed me on and I got comfortable on the bed and began to eat my salad. Looking around at their plates, they had steaks, mas

“I would like to start off by thanking each and every one of you for your continued support as we navigate through this together. I would also like to take this time to update everyone on what I have been doing/going through. Per the council’s request to question me, I handed myself over to show that I was willing to work with them to come to a civilized understanding. However, that is not what happened. I was questioned for hours and if they did not like my answers, I was rewarded with punches, kicks, slaps and many other ways to get me to bend to their will. There will be pictures popping up to show you my injuries I sustained. I was in a coma and just recently woke up. Almost every bone was broken as some point but I stand here before you to show you what kind of men they are. It has recently been brought to my attention that one of the council men is actually responsible for the trafficking and destruction of our smaller packs. We do have evidence and it will be presente
