The next morning an apologetic Hudson drove Isabella to school. "I'll have practice today too. So I'll arrange for someone to drop you home. Okay?" He told her. Isabella nodded, praying in her mind that whoever it was, it shouldn't be Weston. Images of him kissing that girl was still fresh in her mind and it didn't cause her any happiness. It made her jealous and restless as she declined Hudson's offer to walk her to her class."I'm not a baby, bro. I can go to my class on my own," she told him with a grumpy face."I know you're all grown up but please let me walk you to your class today. From tomorrow onwards you're on your own," he said, walking alongside with her. They found Weston sitting at the same spot with the same friends. Isabella was embarrassed beyond words. She was just twelve and he was six years older and saw through her so easily. She walked slowly back to where Anna Sophia was waiting for her."What happened? Why do you look like a tomato?" Asked Anna Sophia curiously. Isabella just kept pouring a bottle of water down her throat instead of answering. Anna Sophia noticed that Weston was sitting with his friends but his eyes were upon them. "Never mind. You don't need to tell me. I don't want Weston to catch us discussing him again. I wonder how you're still alive, how he didn't throttle you?" She asked, deep in thought."I think I know why. He likes you," said Anna Sophia after much thought. The water sputtered out of Isabella's mouth at her friend's controversial statement. She coughed and coughed trying to calm herself."Shut up, Anna. Don't say such things, please. He hates me and so do I, " she pointed out, quickly finishing her f

"It's a friend's birthday party and she has invited me. C'mon, you can relax," he said impatiently. Isabella's eyes immediately widened with shock. She? Was it his girlfriend? Or maybe one of those bit*hy girls who would cling to him all the time? She didn't have any wish to go in and witness it. She would rather go home instead."Aunt Henrietta would be angry with me, Weston, " she reminded him. She couldn't say no to him but since she wasn't invited, she didn't want to impose."No, she isn't at home, " said Weston, parking his motorcycle and grabbing her hand. "Stay close," he told her. Isabella noticed that he had a habit of grabbing her hand all the time. She saw that there was a mini-golf gaming zone inside the venue where a birthday party was being hosted. Delicious appetizers were being served and young girls and boys were laughing and enjoying themselves. Thankfully, they were of all age groups.Isabella tugged at

A thousand questions crept into her mind and she was very worried and restless all day."Somebody's missing someone," sang Anna Sophia in a sing-song voice."I'm not," said Isabella, glaring at her. Anna Sophia laughed."Caught you. I didn't mention your name even once. See?" Said Anna Sophia with a chuckle. Isabella's face flushed with color and she looked away. She noticed that Cody and Dave were also missing. Something was up and she was curious to know what. But who could she ask? She was sure Hudson knew everything but he would be suspicious if she asked him."C'mon spill, girl. Are you missing Weston?" Whisper asked Anna Sophia."Not at all. I'm just concerned since he has a habit of get

"Here, try this too," said Weston, handing her a pale blue sundress. "Is this your favorite color? You're selecting only blue stuff for me, Weston. I don't want an all-blue wardrobe, " protested Isabella. Weston looked at the pile of clothes in her hand with surprise. "So which color is your favorite?" He asked with curiosity. "Lavender, burgundy, white and black, " she told him excitedly. So from then on, they selected only those shades along with the blue ones of course. Afterwards, it was already evening by the time they returned with all their stuff. "So what have you bought for yourself, Wes?" Asked his mom curiously. He had never bought a single thing for himself. Hudson bought his clothes, Cody bought his hair accessories and Dave bought hi

His lips twitched with a happy smile remembering everything that she had written for him. He had learned the words by heart by now and didn't need to read them anymore. His heart started beating rapidly as he stared piercingly at her.
