All employees were summoned to the main hall thirty minutes after his arrival for formal introductions.With the hall as silent as a graveyard, Ricardo began walking to the podium, his shoes echoing around the hall and every step he took feeling like a ticking time bomb that could go off at any moment.All of the employees were tense, with some holding their breath.Ricardo finally came to a halt in the middle of the podium. On Friday afternoon, Ricardo frustratedly dropped the pen in his hand, sat back in his seat, and threw back his head.He sighed deeply and shut his eyes. Lisa hardly slept throughout the night because she was busy thinking about how Ricardo had kissed her inside her office but she later fell around past five in the morning and woke up at quarter part ten.The first name that came into her mind the second she woke up was Ricardo and she hurriedly sat up on her bed, looking around her room as if she was expecting Ricardo to come out of a corner.She took a soft breath and told herself to calm down."Stop stressing yourself, you can just visit him in his hotel room." "Hello, Lisa, are you there?" Her mother's worried voice could be heard on the other end of the phone. "Lisa?"Lisa slowly picked up the phone, attempting to slow her racing heartbeat."Yes, mom. Lisa's apartment doorbell rang about 45 minutes later.Summer got to her feet and shouted, "I'm coming!" as she made her way to the door.She opened the door without checking the visitor through the peephole and received the shock of her life.Her eyes widened in fear and amazement as she looked at the extremely handsome man standing in front of her with glacy blue eyes."How may I help you?" Looking down, she asked."My name is Ricardo; where is she?"Summer, dumbfounded, pointed to Lisa's bedroom door and watched as Ricardo walked past her and into the room.He knocked once, and without waiting for an invitation, he pressed the doorknob and entered the room."Lisa?" He called out worriedly, shut the door, and walked over to her bed. "What is the matter with you?"Lisa wiped away her tears and turned to face Ricardo. His eyes were not cold, but rather filled with concern."I'm sorry, my friend lied. There is nothing wrong with me."

Ricardo parked his car in the hospital parking lot three hours later and tilted his head in Lisa's direction."I'll be waiting for you here. Take your time.""I appreciate it." Lisa said as she stepped out of the car and shut the door. She began walking towards the hospital entrance but abruptly came to a halt, turned around, and waved at Ricardo, who was sitting inside the car, before continuing on her way.She paused for a few moments before opening the door to her father's hospital room, sighed heavily, and slowly opened the door.Her mother tilted her head in the direction of the door, thinking it was one of the nurses, but when she saw who was there, her mouth dropped open and she got out of the chair in shock."Lisa?" She called as she was motioning towards the young lady who was standing by the door. Lisa began reading the paper, and when her eyes caught a sentence, she looked up from the paper and looked at him, bewildered."I will be staying in your house the entire time?"
