The plague was in full swing after that emergency alert system began ringing everywhere — from televisions, to gigantic local sound systems, radios, and even cellular phones. Everything seemed to be in slow motion as soon as Keisha and Jaden ran away from the peril that was currently happening outside. It was now ear splitting, that even the covering of one’s ears would not protect their tympanums from tearing apart because of the clamor generated by firing guns and grenade explosions.The runaways had triggered their adrenaline as they flashed through the alleyways until they finally reached the cavity between the metropolis’s dead end and an unscathed forest. It’s moderately distant from the pandemonium happening there: here was in peace and in harmony. A week passed after Keisha received Iyaz’s ruthless punishment, the event ended with no definite answer to why he aimed to kidnap Keisha but her brother Jaden also. It was so innocent outside yet it reeked of impurity inside. The seductive music broke the quietest of evenings from the nightclubs constructed in a specific place: at the southeastern borders of the Utopian walls, through the narrow alleyways near the center square. The noise was also accompanied by the people hooting and groaning to the immoral show on stage in front of them. Because if you compare them from the Utopians, they were pretty much left behind in terms of architectural beauty and comfort. The reason was that he never thought of building infrastructure for leisure and pleasure purposes first; after all, he was into surviving and protecting his people. Twenty-four hours after Utopian’s defeat, in his room, Iyaz was thinking on how to break Cipher’s defense. It seemed like he was struggling a lot because of such defense and an exquisite force that was acquired by his rivals. He was running out of ideas; neither airstrike nor attacking from behind wouldn’t let him get the triumph he thirsted for. Sabotaging the base from the inside was not an option as well. The room was now filled with shattered glass and broken furniture. It appeared that he couldn’t sleep even after swallowing a bunch of sleeping pills lingered on his table where he continuously smashed his head.
