After practice I manage to get a decent workout in before heading back to the pack house for dinner. Dante is still training with the men so I just make myself a sandwich and head over to visit Scarlett for a while. I have not seen her since our announcement so I wonder how the pregnancy is progressing. Pregnancies for werewolves happen to be a bit faster than those for humans so she should be showing at this point.As I walk up her walkway I notice that some of her plants are not doing as well as they were before. I remember that the last time I left I had somehow given them more life so maybe I can do it again? At dinner after we get done with our joint practice Dante seems as if he is torn between gloating and feeling sorry for me. As the witches finally walk out of the tree line my eyes are instantly drawn to the figure in front. This has to be Morden. The one that gave the order to kill my parents and displaced my grandmother. I might have never met my grandmother but considering the things that I have heard about Morden, I have nothing but ill will towards her. She is beautiful but definitely has the witchy look down. Where my hair is a bright, wild red, hers is a deep black. Her eyes are dark enough that from this distance I cannot tell whether they are still brown or if they are in fact black. Watching the pack celebrate our small victory has me feeling happier and freeier than I have for a while. I still do not think that this is over.
