It is hard to focus as we finish our walk back to the pack house. Nobody bothers talking or trying to be polite for the rest of the walk. It is completely silent. Completely tense as well. The expedition above only consists of 5 others. They all gathered around nervously when Rand announced that I would be going topside with them. Nobody has heard about what happened when we arrived so as far as they know it is still a dangerous expedition.
