The lost hybrid의 모든 챕터: 챕터 61 - 챕터 70

As the heat slowly begins to fade, I get more and more worried about Dante. Why haven't I seen or heard from him yet? Where could he be? I have faith that he is not injured because I am sure that I would know about it, but what could be keeping him? After what feels like an eternity, I start to shiver and pull myself out of the bathtub. With the heat gone, I find that I can finally stand up without my legs giving out, so I peel off my drenched clothes before grabbing a fluffy robe to throw on and walking towards the bed again. I am exhausted after that. From what I was told my heat takes up to 3 days though so it can't be over yet. Is it going to be more of the same or will it be different from what just happened. Remembering that I can mind link Dante, I say, "Dante? Are you okay? I expected you to be back here by now." "I am fine. I will be back soon. Just making sure that there is nobody else hiding in here. I found 4 wolves hiding in here waiting

Thankfully, I made it all of the way to lunch without any more episodes signalling that my heat was still going so Dante made a dinner reservation for us. I cannot wait to get out of this house! It might have only been 3 days but it feels almost like a life time. While I did love having the time with just Dante, I did not like the way my body had a life of it's own the entire time. I am ready to get back to normal. Well, normal for me that is.For dinner, we head out to the Italian Restaurant that we have begun to grow so fond of lately. The fresh air helps to clear my head and invigorate me once again. As we sit at the table eating, I can see the rest of the pack eyeing me curiously. They must all be wondering if I am going to have an episode again since we have left the pack house so soon.Dinner tastes even better after being locked in that house for a while. As I eat, I realize that I am moaning out loud and not just in my head. Slightly ashamed, I glance around bu

Dante and I climb into the ring right before our match is supposed to start. We may have gotten a little distracted just now but it is time to shake that feeling off and focus on our match. Finally, I get to test myself against my mate to see who is the better fighter."Are you ready beautiful?" Dante asks."Oh yeah, just promise me one thing." I say back."What's that?" He asks sounding confused."Don't hold back just because I am your mate." I say.At that he chuckles before nodding as we bump gloves to signal the start of the match. I can feel the entire pack's eyes on us as we get ready to spar. From the corner of my eye, I can see bets being made on who will come out victorious. Kiba's gaze is searing on me while he watches me get ready to fight my own mate.I swing slightly at Dante just to see how quickly he reacts but he just bats my fist away lazily before returning the blow. I bat it away just as easily and we trade blows back and

The doctor gets done taking an x-ray of my foot and declares that the bone had already started healing crooked so he sadly had to rebreak the toe before it could heal fully. It hurts worse when you know it is going to happen than when in the middle of a fight. Luckily, the adrenaline had not fully worn off or else I am sure that it would have hurt a whole lot worse. "You are amazing, just so you  know." Dante says yet again as we are waiting for the bone to set enough to finally leave."You have said that recently you know. I would almost think that you are were lying when you said that I would be able to beat him." I say."What? Never. I had full faith in you the entire time. I did not have full faith in him keeping it clean. You managed to keep him on his toes so much that he never had a chance to pull out anything low like that. I am pretty sure that you broke a few more of his bones than he did of yours." He says with a chuckle."That is tr

After talking to Skoll for a while I have a slightly new outlook on who Kiba is. While he is still just as dangerous as I originally thought, at least I know that he is not completely heartless. I am not entirely sure why he sold my parents out even though I heard what he said in the cottage before but that just does not add up with the man that Skoll just spoke of. Of course, he could have been sent to try to throw me off before I go to meet with his Alpha. When Dante finally wakes up, I head back into our bedroom to take a shower before our meeting. I want to have him thrown off but I do not want to make him sick after I have been sweating for the last couple of hours. Dante throws the covers off when I walk in the bedroom and rushes up to me like he is nervous. "Is everything okay? I woke up and you weren't here. You NEVER get up before me." He says half jokingly and half worried. "I am fine. I was just having problems sleeping so I decided to go and get a
