Vladimir:“Dad, you and mom have been married for almost thirty years” I said looking at dad who raised an eyebrow at me “you know I suck at this, but you and I both know that you would be losing yourself without her”“Your wife is kidnapped, and here you are worried about my and your mom’s marriage?” dad asked “what are you playing at, Vladimir?”“She’s fine, for now at least, but I also need your help in something” I said making dad frown in confusion “first, we’ll discuss you and mom”“Vladimir…”“Dad, I can’t let the two of you lose one another after everything you’ve been through” I said looking him in the eye. He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose as he listened to me, I knew that I tended to be harsh at times, and drove him crazy over the years. But the old man supported me with everything he could, and

“Vladimir, you better not lay a finger on my daughter” Nina said walking inside the house where her daughter lived. Luka and I were sitting by the little girl, having bought her presents and sweets, the little child was satisfied; however, as assumed, her babysitter went and called Nina.“Mommy” the girl smiled and ran to her mother. The woman carried her daughter and hugged her tightly, kissing her cheek. The little girl, Riley, was the biggest weakness that Nina had, and taking that to my advantage, as I had assumed; it lured her here.“You will get out of here, Vladimir, the fight is between you and me, my daughter has nothing to do with this” Nina snarled. Riley looked at her mom with teary eyes, fearing her tone and I shook my head at her recklessness to the situation.“But mommy, the nice man bought me gifts” she said extending her hand to show her mom the toys. Nina kissed her daughter once more before putti

Vladimir:“What do you mean by you lost trace of them, Daniro?” I asked wide eyed. Fear could be heard in my voice as I worried about my wife, my mind going back to the ambush that I saw.“The cameras on a thirty-mile radius were shut off, not to mention that we completely lost track of Viktor’s phone; both went MIA” Daniro answered. I could hear him typing as he spoke to me, and that fact alone worried me considering the fact that I knew that he was trying to track something on my wife. The idea of me allowing her to stay where she was when I knew for fact that I should have gotten her out when I knew exactly where she was disturbed me more than ever. My mind going back to what I saw earlier, she was with Viktor handling a gun; she could have easily escaped, but she seemed to be following him rather than trying to leave.“I’m on my way home, Daniro” I said not answering what he said. The fact that she was willingl

Vladimir:“Anything?” I asked Alexis as he walked into my office. The man shook his head and I sighed running my fingers through my hair. Its been days since I last heard or saw my wife on footage, this was the longest I’ve been without her since the two of us got married, and I was NOT liking it.“We’re still doing our best to track any of them, but so far we haven’t been able to trace anything, boss” Alexis said avoiding my eyes. It took everything in me not to shatter my glass of whiskey which was on my desk. I’ve been at this every night since she was kidnapped, but now it was getting worse, especially since Luka had to carry my knocked out ass to the bedroom every night after finishing a few bottles.“Get out” I said looking down at the glass. Alexis knew better not to object as he walked out quickly. The door to my office was opened a minute later and my eyes hardened “I said, get out, Alexi

Vladimir:“I don’t care what you do, Alexis. Find her” I ordered. Luka frowned in confusion, having woken him up before going down to the security room. I had to find my wife now, the man was playing with fire with what he was doing, and seeing as his phone was suddenly out of order. Well, that wasn’t too assuring to me “trace every camera around, and hack every system you can, not just street cameras. Try vending machines if you have to, I do NOT care. I want her found tomorrow”I knew that I was being more emotional than logical, but at this point, it was the least of my concern. My wife’s safety was in stake, and her carrying our baby didn’t make this any better. Fucking hell, Eliana, what are you doing to me?“Boss, what the hell happened?” Luka asked voicing out his confusion. I ran my fingers through my hair and walked out of the security room along his side. Having woken up the men a while ago, I
