A harsh wind overtook the night as the cries of crickets could be heard from afar. The noise of feet filled the woods, making the night far from safety. The sounds came nearer, revealing the faces of soldiers ordered by the king; each front of the men was a hardened expression; they marched around the kingdom with swords and sticks of firelight searching for witches they had to bring to the King for persecution. The villagers could hear the scream of a dying witch all over the domain, her cries piercing the hearts of people who watched her slowly burn to death. A few meters away from the palace where the witch burned fiercely on a stake, her torture so great bringing nothing but pain. A young witch stood behind a tree; an intense feeling of fear overtook her as she watched with widened eyes. The sound of music filled everywhere as drums were played vigorously by the guards of the great kingdom. The crowd came into the palace, nobles of the land, kings, and queens of neighboring kingdoms who came riding in their horses and carriages. Servants went up and down the court with foods and drinks of different kinds in their hands. Each King stood with their wives as they walked into the large hall, an announcer calling their names as they stepped inside. Prince Robert looked out through his window to watch horses and carriages of different kings and nobles walk into the palace. He stood still with his eyes fixed outside as his servants dressed him in royal robes fit for a king. His hair was plaited down beautifully with a taste by his servants that was so attractive. The sound of horses was heard around the palace. Feets marched into the court fiercely without motion. The sounds escalated going into the throne room.  Robert watched with keen eyes as the men stepped into the room. He sat on his throne, his gaze on the men. In front of the men stood a man, his hair brown and a bit grey. He wore a long cloak and had long sprunting beards and a mustache that added more look to his face. A loud banging sound of a bell rang throughout the kingdom. In the palace gathered the soldiers of the kingdom. A proclamation was made by Robert declaring that no one in the kingdom should be seen outside their homes. The whole kingdom was quiet as the sounds of horses and soldiers marching towards the palace were heard.As the crowd of soldiers stood waiting for the arrival of the king. The palace was so quiet that a drop of a pin could be heard. Robert came forth and faced the soldiers, his eyes studying them one after the other. He wore armor along with the other soldiers who stood waiting for his command. Memories of what happened came wriggling in. Robert stared at his mother, his recollections cast to him as a flashback.He remembers how he chased king Philip deep into the woods, his horse chasing after the old king with great speed as his whole body was filled with nothing but anger. The tension that held him when they fought on the grass, his hands occupied with blood as he hit the man uncontrollably. Then the moment he was stated fiercely on his chest by the king. The great pain overwhelmed him as his heart stopped beating for a while, his strength gradually fading away. Slowly, his breath-sized body couldn't take the pain anymore as he slowly lost consciousness going into thick darkness. Robert's eyes widened as he stared at his mother, suddenly his eyes began to shiver as his breathing became heavy.
