I’m really pissed off. I never met someone like him before. He’s a crazy hybrid. I tried to get away from him but he kept on following me. He is still laughing at my naivety and innocence which makes me truly annoyed. After a few minutes, we finally arrived at the heavenly realm together with the other participants.   The palace’s interior looks too surreal. The floor is made of wood and it is painted with an image that matches the magnificence of the place. Poles are also located inside that have ceramic designs and a touch of gold before it touches the floor. The swirls are too dainty and it looks bewitching. A golden statue is placed on the front which exactly matches several of the furniture’s put inside. The ceiling has stupendous chandeliers that also fits the ambiance of the palace.   “Greetings to you, our heavenly king,” the

I paused from doing my push ups and tilted my head up. I met with his eyes and saw that he was squatting in front of me to match with my height.   “No. I won’t fall for your tricks again. Go away!” I said to him while I snicker. He is annoying. He just won’t stop bothering me.   “Geez. I’m serious this time. I really want you to be my friend. C'mon, I even asked Senior Zhou for you to be my roommate because I know those guys are different from me,” he replied. He is almost pleading. “Why?” I asked almost immediately.    “I don’t know. Maybe some gut feeling.”   I stared at him for a minute before I opened my mouth to speak. “Alright. But don’t tric

After we finished eating, we headed back to our room and shared some stories about our past adventures. We didn’t notice that it is already evening and that the moon is high up in the sky. We don't have any plans on stopping but the drill echoed throughout the area. It is telling us that every student must go to the Hall to gather.   As we walked out of the room, I saw other students who just walked out from their slumber. Some even don’t have their clothes on and are topless. I just shrugged my shoulders and saw Raven yawning while walking on his way to the said area. He is probably tired because he roamed around the academy all day while exchanging stories. I can’t deny that he is fun to be with. He is also playful and is throwing several jokes which make me laugh. He also has his serious side too like I am! He will probably make a good friend. I guess we are compatible to become each other

Chapter 8: Larisa.    “Mother, where are we going?” I heard Snow White ask while we were walking somewhere as we searched for someone named Larisa. She is probably curious because I just kept on walking. I’ve been like this for several minutes already. I don’t have any idea as to where to find her. I tried asking for Raven’s help but he suddenly disappeared. That demon boy is surely a pain in the neck! He said I can lean on him but he is nowhere to be found!   I don’t have someone to ask who Larisa is. The seniors won’t even tell me who she is or what does she looks like. They might only give me a punishment like what they did earlier. I pouted at what’s happening. How am I supposed to search for someone I don’t even know?   I put my attention back on Snow White and too

Chapter 9:  Official student.    After the encounter with Larisa, I ran back as fast as I could to reach the academy. There are only a few minutes left before the allotted time is fully consumed. I gripped on the small place in my hands like my life depended on it.  I also can’t stop grinning while running. My heart is full of hope and is truly ecstatic because of what happened. Who would have thought that the woman whom I thought as a man and saved from the Cerberus is actually Larisa! I made a great choice.   I enter the large door of the hall where we are all called to gather. Several students are back and the area is filled with murmuring noises. Most of them are talking about their task and how difficult it was. I scanned the area and tried to look for Raven but not a single trace of him can be found. I continued
