Lahat ng Kabanata ng In Between The Alphas: Kabanata 31 - Kabanata 40

It has been a week since the incident in the daycare and every day is worse than the last. Jake has discovered new and creative ways to make me suffer and I can’t do anything about it. I have thought about telling Logan but something stops me each time. That day after the incident at the daycare Jake told me that he had told someone everything and in a situation where he should end up in the pack cell or he should end up punished because someone finds out about what he does to me then the person has strict orders to go to Alpha Hunter and my father with information on me and Greg. I wouldn’t have minded having them on my tail again but I can’t do that to Greg. Even if I wanted to warn him; my father would probably get to him first so I have suffered the beatings and the torture in silence. A few times Diana has caught a glimpse of the bruises but she just flushes pink and looks away with a

To say that Jake was upset by Greg’s decision would be an understatement and if looks could kill I would have been six feet under. When Greg was talking to Logan he pulled me outside. “What the hell did you tell him?” “Nothing,” I said trying to pull my hand out of his grasp.         “You’re lying,” he spat, “I know you told him something; why else would he be taking you away?” “I didn’t tell him anything, please let me go.”          “Is everything okay over here?” Greg asked as he stepped out and Jake immediately let go of my hand. “Yeah,” he nodded, “Everything is great.”   Logan on the other hand was more than

“Did you put this on my bed?” I asked holding up the letter and he eyed it with thinly veiled annoyance.           “Why would I put a letter on your bed?” “Someone’s in the house then,” I said and he scoffed, “I’m serious; someone put this on my bed.”        “There is no one in this house except the both of us,” he said, “And now that you’re finally here; we have a lot to discuss.” “I don’t have time for this,” I began, “I need to call Greg.”         “You will not-“ “Shut up!” I screamed and then I realized what I had done, “I’m sorry I didn’t mean to scream.” I quic

I don’t know what time I fell asleep, I was too busy staring at the four corners of the room in fear that something or someone would jump out of the shadows. I almost gave up and called Greg a few times but I fought against it. He deserves a good and peaceful moment with his mate without me interrupting it with my problems. All I’ve ever done is be a cock block; it’s just one night and I can handle it. Tiredness must have seeped in sometime later because I opened my eyes later and the first thing I felt was aching eyes a slight headache. I used the morning light to properly look around the room. It was a bit more extravagant than the one at Jake’s house with a huge vanity at one corner and a walk in closet right next to the bathroom door. The walls were painted a bright white color but there was a pale pink rug that covered the tiled floor at the foot of the bed.  Ever since that day Logan has been a whole other level of overprotective. He has guards trailing me whenever he’s not around; at least he tried by making them almost unnoticeable but I’ve had guards trail me my entire life so I noticed them on the second day. Usually I’d find it stifling but I know he’s doing it because he cares so I don’t mind it. Diana isn’t any better. When she came back that day she has been all over me. She doesn’t like to leave me alone and now it’s like I’m a little kid who has to be constantly watched. Logan watches me at the house, she watches me at work and then repeat the cycle. I did end up taking her advice and asking Logan if I could continue baking and he told me the kitchen is mine to do with as I wish. Needless to say, it has been very fun. He’s also my taste tester for all my pastries. “What are you thinking
