After a quick shower and scrubbing myself raw, I go downstairs to find Uncle Alex, who is talking with Alpha Peter in the dining room. “The council members are just getting settled in their rooms, and we’ll be meeting in ten minutes,” Alpha Peter tells Uncle Alex. “Good afternoon, Alpha, Uncle Alex,” I say as I walk over to join them. “Good afternoon, Athena. After dinner, everyone in the pack house heads to the old building that holds the cells. There has been a small stage set up on the road out the front of the building, and council members are standing up there talking with Alpha Peter. Uncle Alex and Ryna stick to my side as we make our way into the crowd that’s gathered. With Mom and Gino close behind us, we make our way to the front of the crowd to make sure we’re seen. The packs’ murmurs and talking goes quiet when Jason and another warrior bring Doctor Shields out of the building, down the stairs, and onto the stage. Alpha Peter takes his place on the stage, as Jason and the warrior make the Doctor kneel in front of him. “Doctor Shields, you have been brought before the pack and your Alpha to be banished. Your actions have disgraced our pack, and you have acted without the knowledge or permission of your Alpha. Hey everyone. I would like to thank you all for making it this far with me and adding my story to your collection. Andreas P.O.V I walk into the small room where Gamma Alex has Doctor Shields tied to a chair. “Has he said anything?” I ask as I look at the dishevelled doctor. “Nothing. He just sits there smiling like a madman,” Gamma Alex says. I grab the other chair in the room, place it in front of the doctor, and sit facing him. “You may as well talk to us, Doctor. I arrive at the old warehouse and park behind Noah’s car. As I step out of my truck, I feel the sun shining down on me, but there is no warmth in its rays. I wrap my arms around myself, trying to warm up, but the coldness comes from deep within. I approach Noah’s car, where Noah, Ryna, and Uncle Alex are talking. “Did you see what direction he was headed in?” Noah asks Uncle Alex. “No. But I picked up his trail heading north in that direction,” he points towards the tree line. “Where were you holding the doctor?” Ryna asks. “Come on, I’ll show you,” Uncle Alex says as he walks towards the warehouse doors, followed by Noah and Ryna.
