After leaving Ember to get comfortable in her room and assuring her multiple times that the locks worked on all the doors. Keegan made his way to his bed. Contemplating how long he might have to wait before his mate would share his room. Forgoing the search for sleep pants, he opted for nothing. Removing everything out of his pockets to place in the bowl on his dresser. He grabbed his phone and laid down on his bed. Grimacing at the time, he sent out a text to Roderick and let him know that he would be at the house, but to still consider him on vacation until he cleared some things with Ember. Placing her head in her hands, Ember wondered why she was doing this? Keegan had a strange pull on her, especially when he looked at her with those dark, intense eyes. Sitting at the small table in Keegan’s kitchen nook. Half-listening to the brother and sister’s chatter about the budgets and stocking needed for one of the bars they own. An older lady, named Ilene, had sat plates of delicious smelling bacon, eggs, and toast in front of everyone when they had first sat down, but after devouring it all, Ember was trying to decide what her next move would be. Strange as it was, she didn’t feel like leaving Keegan behind.
