Carter cursed Thalia was exceptionally fast. He had to move faster than her to stop her from grabbing Caroline’s throat.  He pulled her back and locked her against his chest with his arm. Thalia rubbed her arms she was standing in the middle of a living room. It was cold and dark. She looked around but the room was silent except the occasional whimpers.  She turned around and sitting in the corner on a worn-down armchair was a girl wearing a pure white dress. Her hair scattered in a mess, holding a brand new teddy bear in her hand. She was snivelling and wiping her tears- A door creaked behind and then there was a deathly silence in the room.
