Chapter 31
When Stanley finally left the building, he and Winston’s group finally part ways. From what he had observe from the new group, the people are tight-lipped about the situation so he didn’t force himself there. Gathering information is much better on site so that very night, he left and decided to wander on the streets.  There were several corpse lying everywhere and there seems to be no sign of human activity, which made him slightly frustrated. Wasn’t apocalypse something lively so what’s going on now? Why is the streets so empty and there’s not even a single zombie crawling around. As a human being starved of thrill, this is definitely unacceptable! As he thought back about the drug case, Stanley have a few suspicions in his heart. In fact, he really don’t want to check it out anymore but because the situation was urgent he didn’t hesitate to tap the skill section. Just as he heard before, he unlocked a new skill. Stanley browsed his system screen for a while, tapping impatiently on his skill section and soon he finally found the new skill interface: Master’s Bond..? ‘A rare skill that meant to increase your own ability when you are bound to another person’s ability. It can be use to exchange or share your ability with another person. Binds your souls as one in a short period of time. It can only be used once.’ Stanley was sile

Chapter 34
It’s been two weeks since the outbreak started. From all of the place they had seen, Byul deduced that the apocalypse has just began. Judging from the few zombies crawling and the unknown cause, it seems the drug still hasn’t been discovered by the government. Though it was disheartening, it is such a relief that there’s only few zombies in the streets. “Fuck!” Byul was now burning with anger. It hasn’t been long since they confronted the hundreds of zombies and it still hasn’t been that long since that bastard activated his skill but now in a fucking moment of desperation, Byul didn’t hesitate to run away. Even if his legs had been shaking and he’s dragging his own body desperately, Byul was so pissed enough to not bat an eye to someone else. The certain someone was still fighting the zombies and it has only been a few minutes before he was instantly surrounded by th

The boat was still running and he don’t know how to figure it out after fiddling with the controls for a while. After starting it up, he thought he’ll less figured out the next but being overconfident could really led to failure. After busting his brain cells for a while, Byul eventually gave up. Chapter 38
In three days, Byul and Stanley finally arrived in the mainland. After putting up with potato chips for three days straight, Byul thought his taste buds had gone numb. Since it was the cheapest thing they could afford in the island, he felt a bit funny. The yacht eventually reached the beach. The surrounding was quiet and only the two of them were in the beach. Presumably, the situation already turned worst and the mainland was the first to suffer the consequences of the outbreak if not then, this quietness must be a fluke. In fact, when they’re still on their journey to the mainland, the regions had already began implementing martial law and there were many roads that already been sealed off. After walking for six hours, Byul badly wanted to secure a car. It’s been a long road and he couldn’t walk anymore. Since the beginning they’re walking nonstop so now he really felt tired. Stanley, on the ot

En route, Byul picked up Stanley and the two of them drove all the way to the city square. Since they more or less already combed the outskirts of the region, the next goal is to confront the city. The two of them was traveled silently and on the way, Byul collected a few number of corpse lying around. He didn’t fully used his skill but he scattered the zombies to act as the lookout. Even if they’re killed again, at least they had some kind of use to him. In the previous world, he didn’t think of this because it wasn’t that convenient to use corpse and have them walked all over the street. If he did it then maybe it would be a part of history haha. Since the search matter was resolved, Byul wanted to find some weapons for him to use. It wasn’t that weird to seek some protection with his ability but because it was a very troublesome ability, he had no choice but to be extra careful with himself. Aft

That night, as soon as darkness crept on the skies. The sound of blood-curling screams accompanied by gunshots could be heard on one of the rooms. Stanley was quite amused by this, it seems like Byul wasn’t hearing anything unlike him who could hear a sound even from the tiniest noise. The sound was really disturbing and from his own perspective, it could be said that their suspicion were correct. This chaos went on as the night goes on and until the time they were finally led towards a certain room did Stanley avert his attention towards the people sitting leisurely on a chair. Along them were few computers and stack of files, the people don’t seems nice and some of them even have rifle hanging above their shoulders. Byul felt uneasy around the dense atmosphere. He glanced momentarily at the computer on the table and just fixated his gaze on Stanley’s face. On the other hand, Stanley was very relaxed.
