She had been climbing floors like a superhero since the morning. Ordering food, check-in departments, setting the meeting room, and giving coffee to Smith, everything was like a mess. She had been going crazy over the phone who kept on ringing and ringing. Finally the clock was about to struck 11:30 and she didn't even had the time to sigh. She was more nervous than ever. She rubbed her sweaty palms on the back of her hip as she but her lip. Standing in front of the bathroom mirror, she brushed her hair with her fingers and redid her lipstick. Making sure she was ready to face her worst nightmare, she stepped out if the bathroom. Smith was quite in a hurry as he got a call from the front guest that the guest had already arrived in the parking lot. As soon he saw Ruby he immediately asked her to go down and welcome them. While Velvet take a final look at the meeting room and helped Smith with the files. With trembling legs, Ruby went down in the elevator. She had to look mature an

She almost sighed when Smith didn't choose to stay over with her. He left early then she expected. As soon as they ate dinner which they had to order from outside, he remembered that he has to wake up early for office. In the mean time of night, she planned her schedule to visit Dawson tomorrow. She was desperate to see her baby. She also planned to take some gifts as she was going to meet him for the first time after his birth. Overwhelmed with all the excitement, she couldn't sleep all night. She constantly changed positions on bed but was unable to close her eyes and dive deep into the valley of sleep. And the most obvious reason was, she was already missing her son. She kept thinking about him, how old he must have grown, how he looks like, who takes care of him etc. She knew she has to avoid Smith at all costs tomorrow. She can't afford trouble and explanations on the most finest day of her life recently. *The next morning was more beautiful than she expected. As she cuddled

She lost the count of time while being tangled with him all night. She was exhausted so she didn't realized when sleep took over her and she forgot about the promise she had with Smith. In the middle of the night, when she woke up from the heavy slumber, she saw Dawson beside her, whose one hand was on her chest while sleeping on his front. She removed his hand from her body, carefully so he doesn't wake up. Wrapping a sheet around her body, she moved towards the large window. Sliding the curtain aside, she felt the desire to see moon. Around which stars use to gather and shine, giving him all the attention of the universe. She realized that maybe she was simply a star in someone's life but she was also the moon in someone other's life, particularly. She regretted that she choose to be a star in her son's life when he needed the moon to look over him. She didn't know how to get back in her place which she kicked while running away from him. She didn't know what to think over Dawso

Their insane kiss was interrupted when the door bell rang. She pulled away first, realizing the awkwardness. He sensed that she felt embarrassed of it, so he detached himself and stood up. "I'll get it" saying this, he went towards the doorway. He opened the door and the delivery boy stood there, holding their food package. He took the food from him and signed the receiving bill. Shutting the door, he turned around to give it up to her. "Here is your food, now I think I should take me leave" he suggested, looking away from her. Suddenly the atmosphere around them was filled with awkwardness and strange irritation. "You may go after, maybe you can stay a bit for food?" She didn't wanted to make him feel unwelcomed which she already did. "No you may enjoy it, I'll leave" he denied. "I'm sorry, I really shouldn't have left in midnight without informing you" she admitted it politely. He looked again at her and she looked guilty of her mistake. He was stunned that after all she adm

"come inside, I'll drop you home" Smith stated as he waved his hand to her to get inside. "No thanks, I'll walk home" she replied with a straight expression. "I have your belongings which you left behind. Get inside, I'll drop you home" he argued. "Please Smith, give me my belongings and I'll go by myself. I don't need your help right now, I just want to be alone at the moment" she almost begged him. Without another say, he picked up her phone and bag from the seat beside him and handed her over. She held them silently and started walking in her direction, as he watched her going away. She walked herself to bus stop and stood there for ten minutes for the bus to arrive. As soon the bus came, she sat in. Looking through the city all the way was soothing to her nerves. She turned on her phone and saw several missed calls from Smith and Dawson. Two messages from sister Amelia. She ignored all of it and just relaxed herself in the back of the seat, leaning in the comfy chair. Some
