Chapter 21: A Drunken King Rouault
Chapter 21. A Drunken King Rouault Now that Queen Nox had left the late lunch, bordering on dinner, social event to return to her work, as the sole ruler of her Kingdom. As well as Seraphina – the dazzling delight of the evening had taken her to leave – having left, one by one all of the remaining guests left the dining room in their respective groupings. The first pair, chaperone and young eligible bachelor, to leave had been King Rouault and Prince Kavan. The former, staggered and wabbled in his pace. His young Prince supported his weight from his shoulder, hugging his side with one arm. Despite this, the King seemed to pay his son no mind. “Honestly,” The young owlet chastised, “You may have overdone it with the blood wine.” The older Tawny owl spluttered and slurred. Being drunk elongated his hooting accent to a comical degree, “Yooou knooow…” he began, “It shooould be me whooo tells yooo ooooff, yoooungster.” The younger peacock prince, Prince Caruso and Queen

Chapter 22. Free Time Around the Castle: Master Fenn
Chapter 22. Free Time Around the Castle: Master Fenn       While Master Fenn had done his best to close the door to the room gently, trying his best not to cause the ironmongery to squeak under the palm of his hands. The truth was that Master Fenn could have slammed it for all that it would have mattered and the young owl knew it better than anyone else present in the Raven Kingdom would.     Lord Fielder would not wake now, until the alcohol wore off in his system and by then, he would be craving gallons and gallons of water to quench a thirst that seemed as though it would never end.    He signed as he walked down a different hallway than the one he had approached the room from. Partly, because he did not want to run into the Peacocks or the Eurasians right now. Master Fenn was already angry at them as it was and he wasn’t naturally an angry owl by nature. More often he was v

Chapter 23. Awaiting Opportunity
Chapter 23. Awaiting Opportunity       Lady Cassandra and young Master Caruso, those from the Peacock Harpy’s Royaly, had been the next pair out of the dining room, once the drunken Lord Fielder had left, – being supported by the young tawny he was supposed to be chaperoning.    Now and again, small bubbles of giggles and chuckles would surface, from their lungs to their lips.    Usually, Master Caruso did not get on well with his mother. Especially surrounding the topic of wanting a mate who was not a peacock. He thought beige was boring and refused to marry a woman who… was just plainly and blatantly boring.    Initially, Lady Cassandra had taken no issue with this. It was well known, and widely accepted among all of the harpy Clan’s, that peacock males had a vanity like no other. Requiring absolute beauty within their mates.     It was because of precisely this, that the P

Chapter 24. The Council of Owls & Code of Conduct
Chapter 24.  Council of Owls & Code of Conduct    The last group of Harpy to leave the dining room, following the late lunch and both Seraphina and Lady Nox, the Raven Queens’ departure to continue the obligations that came with her ruling a Kingdom as a widowed Queen, was the Eurasian Eagle Owl Harpy.    As they walked up the corridor; the group turned in the direction of their room, around several more turns and a few doors up. It did not seem to take long and the brothers were in high spirits – slightly tipsy after a few glasses of the blood wine themselves.     Not enough that they had almost complete loss of bodily functions. Such as that, they had witnessed, of Lord Fielder. Who was supposed to be chaperoning Master Fenn, had ended up having to use the young owlet as a crutch to get him back to his room after several goblets of the blood wine, too many.    Both of the Eurasian brothers’ laugh

Chapter 25. A Shifter's Mark
Chapter 25. A Shifter's Mark   The Raven Kingdom was not one that was known for its warmth, or its sun for that matter. Situated in a more northern part of the continent the blistering winds of the three mountains had a bite to it. The sky while lit with clouds earlier, was now beginning to dull – more than its usual level of dullness anyway.   This was how, most, of the Royal guest from the other Clan’s perceived it anyway. They all felt it was still quite early. Too early for the light to already be fading from the sky, and fading so fast too.     While the various guests had left the late lunches by now: Some now asleep, passed out or garnering beauty sleep. Others exploring the castle or, such as Lord Easton – drafting letters to his mate. The Eurasian Queen.   Sephora remained, still, in the Noble District.    Having now, s

Chapter 26. One Downed Hound
Chapter 26. One Downed Hound      As both the younger twin of Lady Nox, alongside her poorer aesthetic features of icy pale blue eyes, that were almost white. After Sephora had, what she believed for the most part, gotten over her mother issues - deriving from lack of attention and affection that her sister always seemed to receive from her- the younger twin had kicked back and realised the two tier favouritism may actually be a good thing for her.    While she seemed innocent and childlike as a defence, and these days, a default. She had indulged herself once or twice with various servants. Only those she deemed to be of her tastes and her own aesthetic; being so imperfect with her pale eyes, she never imposed such strict conditions on anyone she deemed fit to pleasure her.    Of course the Raven Queen knew nothing about this and were she ever to find out…. The mere thought of that

Chapter 27. Lurking Lust
Chapter 27. Lurking Lust   Caruso had ensured that his exit from the room was quiet and soft enough so as not to disrupt his mother, Lady Cassandra the Peacock Queen's, beauty sleep – just as she had begun to drift off.      As it was supposed to be, a late breakfast was delayed to a late lunch. All due to Princess Sephora, who had never bothered to even show up in the end. This was a sentiment mutually shared by all those who had arrived.    Already the younger princess had earned a flakey reputation, but it wasn't unfixable at this point. As it was pushed back to a late lunch, it had disgruntled Lady Cassandra, in the being so close to her evening beauty rest.    No matter the reason

Chapter 28. Curse The Peacock Clan
Chapter 28. Curse The Peacock Clan      A tear broke from her left eye as Caruso, her attacker, finally reached her.    She backed away again, but this time the back of her calves bumped into the edge of a low long chair and with a yelp that she could not help. Servant girl, Auro fell backward onto it. Her servant uniform, a grey checkered dress, flipped up and revealed lacy black underwear.    "Oh, now that…." The Peacock Prince purred, "…that is an excellent position for you, isn't it?" As he grabbed the back of the couch closest, in a place most relative to her legs with the hand which had just been on his throbbing member.      He ran that hand up one of the dark grey stockings at her thighs; i

Chapter 29. Stealthy As A Ghost
Chapter 29. Stealthy As A Ghost   Elsewhere in the castle Lord Easton was restlessly waiting for his fresh towels to shower up and freshen up prior to his meeting later on with the Raven Queen. Where he would formally pitch the benefit of a union between one, if not both, of her daughter’s and his son’s.    Loris and Lucas had used their supply up and taken them to the Royal baths where they had decided to have an enjoyable and leisurely soak. Where they were reviewing their thoughts on Seraphina as a potential mate and the Raven kingdom as a whole; how the lunch introductions had went?    The Eurasian King had waited patiently for his towels for a while now, but the light of day was all but gone from the grey skie – now as dark as it would get. The lantern’s in his room had flickered on with a strange dark coloured flame, a magic that the Raven’s used to lig

Chapter 30: Madness in the Music Room
Chapter 30. Madness in the Music Room      In one smooth and swift sweep into the music room, Master Fenn had assessed the entire predicament and his now unfurled wings, of mottled brown, curtained the raven servant from him.    The rage visibly came to the surface of Master Caruso’s, the Peacock Prince’s, face. His erect and hard member was still very clearly out of his trousers. The Princes face became so red with rage, that it contrasted oddly with the blue and green of his hair, “That servant was tending MY needs.” He spat at the bold and younger tawny Prince.    Behind the curtain of mottled wings, the blue hued servant girl curled into a fatal position. Her sobs now audible as there was no reason to hid them anymore.    Master Caruso hadn’t yet recognised that there was a small crowd at the door, who were watching this scene as it occurred. A
