"What?""Every family you stayed with, were members of the Dragons. However, all those before Craig, were too gentle. You needed more of a firm hand. You constantly found ways to escape, and that could not be tolerated. We needed you with us." Drago says, with an annoyed expression on his face."What about my social worker?""She was also a dragon. We would feed her whatever line we needed to, to make sure you would stay within our grasp. We had her take you away from your brother before he had a chance to ruin our plans. So when the doctors took you away for 'tests' it was actually our plan in motion to get you away from the hospital. We even had one of our doctors watch over Ryker. So when he found out you were missing, our doctor informed him that you had been taken into social services, and it would be for the best. Did you never question why Ryker was never taken into social services?" Craig asks. "I always assumed he was. I figured if he wasn'

"Lexi?" I hear someone call out to me."Lexi?" The voice repeats.I feel groggy, as I slowly wake myself up."Lexi?" I hear the familiar voice call out once more."Xavier?" I say stunned. When I open my eyes, I turn to see Xavier exiting the closet as he finishes getting ready for work. I sit up, trying to get my bearings."What's going on?" I ask.I watch as Xavier turns to face me, taking slow strides in my direction."What do you mean what's going on?" He inquires.I try to figure out what's going on, but it's like my mind is blank. I have no recollection of anything that's happened. Something feels wrong, but I have no idea what. I shake my head, as if ridding my mind of the dark thoughts. I turn to face him, and smile."Nothing. It must've just been a bad dream. Where are you off to?" I ask."Well it must've been some dream, because we're going to be late if we don't leave in the next ten minutes

...Xavier POV...It's been just over two weeks since I last saw Lexi. My heart crumbles just at the thought. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything since she left. I'm mainly upset with myself. I should've seen this coming. Lexi has, and always will be a caring person. She puts the world first before herself. She has always been selfless like that. I should've been there for her. If I was with her, this never would've happened. But I was selfish and went to work that day instead. Knowing all too well the state that she was in. Jax continues to blame himself for what happened. But Lexi was smart, much smarter than anyone thought. She always seems so innocent, so the last thing we would ever expect, is for her to be so cunningly brilliant. The way she escaped Jax's watch actually made me quite proud. Planning something like that, would normally take weeks of careful calculation. But Lexi achieved her plan in mere seconds. From what I

I wake up in the bed, in whatever dungeon I'm being held in. I can't remember the events leading up to how I got here. My head is spinning, and I feel groggy. It feels like I've been sleeping for a week. Slowly everything begins to come back to me. I remember trading myself for Ryker, and how they've been torturing me to get info about Xavier, but other than that, I draw a blank. I look around, which is when I notice that I'm no longer chained. They didn't bother tying me up after they brought me back to my room.I slowly begin to stand, feeling everything in my body ache in displeasure to my movements. Without moving too much, I try to analyze my body. Making note of any injuries I've sustained. Other than my ribs, nothing else seems to be broken, which is a relief. There are numerous bandages covering my abdomen, face, and legs. I'm curious as to why. They've never shown mercy to me before. So why start now? Before I get a chance to figure out why they are suddenly s

My heart drops. Something's wrong. Xavier knows our phrase, and he wouldn't just blatantly say it at a time like this. I stand up immediately after he says that. His warning running lengths along my spine. His words echoing deep within me. Within seconds I'm fully awake. I switch cameras, not looking for anything in particular. Suddenly my eyes are drawn to a man standing behind a tree in all black, holding something in his hand. A switch of some sort. Two other men are holding guns to Jax and Ryker's heads. They're unconscious, and lying on the ground bound together. I turn back to look at Xavier. Paying close attention to him. I analyze everything about him. Which is when I notice he's wearing a rather large vest. It dawns on me right away what's going on. It's a trap. This whole thing was just another part of Drago's sick plan. He knew that I would find a way to escape. I ram the back of my head against the wall of the room. Sinking to the ground in defeat.
