"Hey! It’s been a while!" Daniel pops from behind Oliviana. Enoch scowls at the unwelcome surprise. Gideon stands from his seat in shock with Leora holding him by the hand anchoring him. Gideon walks away from his home, from his family, from his beloved. He needed to think, think of how he should feel about the truth, think about how helpless the family of his mate thinks they are, think about how he could break the hex. He walks with his heart beating loud, it beats louder and louder as he changes form and runs until he reaches a beach on the other side of the island. He stands and screams at the beaming moon above him, the cool wind not helping him calm down nor did the sound of the waves.
