Ch-21 : chronology
Theme: Smith's chronology and the priest messengers     With one hand, the processor cranked me off the ground and made me run into a yellow bright light that suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The yellow light was in the shape of a door, and I suspected it to be a portal.   "Get them," I heard the veiled man yell in anger. "I want him back here and don't spare her." I heard him shouting orders at his men.   I took one last glance at the scene, and I could see some men in a black outfits, riding a black horse galloping towards the yellow portal, which looks like a door. After a few metres for them to enter, the strange portal closed up and disappeared.   "Are we safe?" I asked the processor as she finally dropped me to the ground. Using my eyes to explore our environment, I could see that we were now in a thick forest that was full of deep trees with their leaves swaying wi

Ch-22 : Fury
Until death, chapter 22     Theme: The Jungle Fury     "How dare you insult the priest like that?" One of the priest's couriers was in turmoil, and I could see his eyes turning black. "Whether you like it or not, we are going with the boy and you can't stop us."     "Did you think that the raven raiders, Nazgul, and other demons wouldn't come for their master's soul?" One of the ugly head monsters said "The soul nectar will keep drawing all the evil entities towards him, and he won't even survive a fight with them."     I told him to "keep your story for the gods." He is an ugly demon with two heads. He was standing beside the one with four hands, a big head, long sharptails, and big bulging muscles. He also has different scars running across his face; his teeth were so rotten that maggots were walking all around his body. His teeth were so brown, a

Ch-23: Fury, two
Until death, chapter 23   Theme: The Jungle Fury Part 2     The processor quickly directed the frost orb to the left, and a glaze rod whooshed past our heads. The great cries of about a hundred men were now coming closer. They were riding a skateboard, which I guess was formed from ice. They had black armour and a hood was covering their faces.      "Who are they?" I asked the processor   "They are the reaper's combatants," she answered, then quickly bent low as another sharp, smothered rock flew past our faces. "It means he has found a way to locate us." She explained.     "How is that possible?" I asked, surprised. "I thought you said those entities would only scent my smell if I reached the outside world."     "Since you have started conducting the power of the nectar, they will be able to breathe in

Ch-24, infinity
Until death, chapter 24   Theme: Tomorrow is infinite.   "He doesn't have the right to your time," the professor said to me. She was the one that blocked the dead blow meant for General Zod. "You have to leave now, and don't forget what I told you." She whispered it again.   "Why can't you let me finish him once and for all?" I said with resentment in my voice. "He has caused me more trouble than you can ever imagine, and I promised to send his head back to the veiled man as a gift." I snarled in rage.   "It doesn't work like that," the processor corrected me. "Your enemy today might end up being your saviour tomorrow, so you must learn how to forgive. Moreover, he was following his duty. " She explained.   "He is following the wrong duty and fighting the wrong side of the war," I yelled. "He doesn't deserve any mercy."   "Meet me in the prancing hall," the p

Ch- 25, surprised
Until death: Chapter 25   Theme: "Surprise or Shock."   I felt proud in front of everybody. The ball I was standing upon was now rotating around the small ridge. My superiority was now in the blink of lashing out and I felt invisible. I am now the champion of the arena. I became the centre of attention, and everyone stood eagerly waiting for what was going to be happy next. I can feel all my friends looking at me with shock, surprise, and disbelief. I knew they were finding it out to believe me. They all stood still on the dirt, their mouths open wide in stupefaction.   Well, I couldn't blame them. Who will believe the story that a two-month-old corpse came back to life, and is now more powerful? The venom woman was now crawling down the ridge. She was sneaking around the other side, hoping to catch me by surprise, but only if she knew that I had now acquired a new sight. It was like I could see everything that was happe

Ch-26, surprised, 2
Until Death-chapter 26   Theme: Surprised or Shocked, part 2   "How is that possible?" I asked no one in particular, my mouth still open in incredulity as the scene in front of me unfurled itself. Surprise is the military soldier's transformation that just turned into a reaper's warrior. The second is Ryan, so he was the reaper's leader all this time. That means he killed both my foster and biological dad. Lastly, my team.   "So, you are the veiled man." I snarled at Ryan. He had just hopped down from the high place he had been sitting in earlier. He was now a few feet away from me. "You are a green snake, the black sheep that made my life miserable," I yelled, and I could feel my voice cracking. However, I managed to hold back my tears.   "You can blame it on the soul nectar," he replied nonchalantly. "If I know you are the last Smith, I will have killed you, ripped your chest open, and removed the

Ch-27, revelation
Until death-chapter 27   Themes: Genesis and Revelation   "You want to know how it begins, right?" Ryan screeched at me, and I could see the streaks in his neck rising. He sauntered towards me and shoved me in the mouth with his boot. Not allowing me to take a siesta, he raised me with one hand, my feet dangling in the air, and he punched me in the jaw. Still, he didn't release me. "You Smith caused everything," he snarled again, his eyeball protruding out due to the way he was speaking. "None of you should interfere in what doesn't concern you." He hit me twice more before tossing me away, and I went flying in the air like a baby toy.   I could feel blood on my tongue. My whole mouth had been bruised due to the way he had tortured me. Each blow felt like he was hitting me with heavy metal. Before I could blink, he appeared in front of me, grabbed me by the neck again, yanked me up, then sped towards the cliff and made m

Ch-28, revelation, 2
Until death, chapter 28   Theme: Genesis and revelation, part 2.   "In the beginning, I invented the nine rings of gloom and distributed them among the selfish men. Three were given to the dwarf, and five were given to different men who were seeking more sovereignty. Ryan begins his speech. He has now returned to his previous position, and my mom is sitting beside him. The moon's casting is reflected on them, and they look flawless. If not for the certainty that they are betrayers and bloody suckers, I would gladly accept them as my parents. My team has also joined us, all of them waiting eagerly for the history they have never heard before.   Not that they have any choice. Besides, we are in his region, and he could do anything he wanted to us. There are thousands of Nazgul sailing in the night, under the dreary atmosphere, all of them waiting for their emperor's order. I know that with a whistle, they will descend on u

Ch-29, Chase
Until death-chapter 29   Theme: The Chase   Instead of loitering for them to charge at me, I attacked them rather. I whack at Ryan, and he deflects it with a sword that mysteriously appeared in his hand. He whacked at me, his sword aiming for my throat, and I quickly bent low. The bitch, my foster mom, slashed at me from behind with a short knife, and I quickly stepped aside. I retaliated by directing a kick to her abdomen and then using her body to perform wall flips. It's just that I used her body instead. My leg hit her on the jaw, and the effect made her stumble backward.   I swashed it aside to circumvent another attack from Ryan. Wheeling back, I faced him, my eyes blazing with fury. He swung at me, his blow growing fiercer with each second. All thanks to the nectar, I was able to deflect all the blows expertly. I whacked at him with my silver sword, and he quickly parried the blow with his blade. He grabbed my ank

Ch-30, assistance
Until death: Chapter 30   Theme: unexpected assistance   Twisting back to check the new male voice, I was met with something unimaginable. It was a squirrel cat. A talking cat. Releasing my guard, I hissed in annoyance and directed my gaze back to the incoming armies. One of the skeletons directed a boulder at me, but I quickly jumped to evade it, then curled my body to avoid another incoming strike.   I heard a painful groan behind me, followed by the hissing sound of the squirrel cat. "As if infesting my solitude wasn't enough, they even have the guts to attack me." The animal complains, and the resentment in its voice is visible.    I wanted to stop and ask the strange animal with red hair how I was able to understand what it was saying, but the incoming armies didn't allow me to as they charged straight at me. Letting out a rudimentary roar that surprised and even scared me, I met them in a
