(Monique’s POV)A knock on the door woke me up from my deep slumber. I tiredly opened my eyes and looked at the clock on the bedside table. The sun's rays slipping through the slightly opened curtains tell me that it’s already morning. Walking out of bed, I slowly walked towards the door and opened it.“Good morning, I have cooked breakfast already. Wash up, then come down.” Catherine said when the door opened.I nodded my head in a daze and walked back inside to wash up. Opening the closet, I picked up some of my comfortable clothes since it’s the weekend and I have no work today. In less than an hour, I managed to finish my morning routine and hurriedly went downstairs. I found Catherine at the dining table preparing the utensils. She raised her head when she felt my presence and pointed at the chair in front of her.I happily smiled and sat on the chair. The delicious smell of waffles and the fragrance of bla

(Third Person's POV) Weeks have already passed since the incident happened during the Foundation Ceremony. Everything went back to normal. Catherine went back to the university to continue her class despite her fear of being seen by President Lu. She can't afford to lose this job and find another one, so she has to act as if nothing happened. Continuing her life like how it was used to be. Capital University is one of the top universities in Capital City. It is the school where prominent figures in the city graduated from. (Monique’s POV)Ring! Ring!I woke up from my deep slumber because of the irritating sound from my phone. “Hello?!”“Monique! Thank God you finally answered the phone. I’ve been calling you a couple of times already!” So, it’s my manager.“What do you want? You just disturbed my sleep, didn’t you know that?”“What?! You’re still sleeping? It’s already past 9 in the morning! Hurry up and come to the office this instant!” She instantly hung up the phone before I could say my reply.‘What the hell is wrong with that psychopath old lady!’ That was my manager, Michelle Chua. She was given to me by the agency when I first started working there, so we’ve known each other for so many years already. We were not really on good terms. When I was still a newbie in this modeling career, she was my support. She gave me different opportunit

(Catherine’s POV)“That’s all for today. Don’t forget our fieldwork tomorrow. I’m expecting everyone to be here early in the morning. Class dismissed.” I left the room and walked towards the teacher’s office. There are still some things to prepare for our fieldwork tomorrow. On the way to the office, my phone rang and saw that it was the principal who had called. “Hello, Mr. Principal?”“Yes, Catherine. Is your class done already?”“Yes sir. I’m currently walking back to the office. Is there something you want me to do sir?”“That’s good. Can you come to the office right now? There’s something I want to discuss with you.”“Okay, sir.” The call ended right after. ‘Why did the Principal call me? Is there something wrong?'The principal’s office is in the opposite direction from where the teacher&rs

(Alexander’s POV) After our encounter in the parking lot, she finally agreed to have dinner with me. We left her car there and used my car instead. Fortunately, after that earlier episode, she finally managed to calm herself down. Silence is all that is heard on our way to the restaurant. I had already asked Secretary Lin to reserve a private room in the restaurant. When we arrived there, a few people were dining since it was already late in the evening. “Good evening President Lu. It’s a pleasure for us to have you here in our restaurant. Please follow me. I’ll lead you to your table.” The manager guided us to the second floor of the restaurant. This is where all the private rooms are located. I glanced at Catherine, who was silently following from behind. I stopped walking, which made the manager confused. “Is there something wrong President Lu?” Ignoring him, I turned around, which surprised Catherine. Her widened eyes tell how afra
