Quinn you don't mind right?” Tina raised her brows expectantly waiting for his response. Quinn stated at Alyssa then nodded his head. “ That's great.” Tina smiled and pulled Alyssa along. “ I had to pull you away from him because I noticed you were looking uncomfortable. ” She cast a look over Alyssa. “ Is something going on between you two?”Alyssa twisted her lips and stared down at her feet. Tina sighed and touched Alyssa's palm. “ I know Quinn better than you do and I know how to pacify him whenever he is annoyed about something

Alyssa sat calmly on the stool with her head lowered down. She was well aware everyone had gotten a glimpse of her with the light shining on her tiny body. She avoided looking at his direction and rather felt solace staring at her feet. “ Uhmm...what did you discuss with my grandmother?” Alyssa tightly shut her eyes to calm her self down. She wasn't the type to keep secrets only that she was a bit tight lipped than Alexia. Quinn whose eyes didn't leave her face for a second noticed and analysed all of her facial expression. At first it was shock, then fear, before looking a bit normal. “ Nothing much. She wanted to see” She scratched her head. The loose strands that slipped out of her messy bun perfectly carved her face. Quinn's hand itched to caress her shiny hair under the dim light. It's not too late for announcement. ”The smile on Tina's face didn't disappear. “ It's not even April fools day. What the heck are you talking about. It's not too hard to admit you're nervous about the engagement and all that. ” She raised her hands up trying to emphasize her words. Quinn wasn't deterred by her words. He expected her not to take his words serious. They had been together for quite a long while with no big issues between them. His sudden utterance was uncalled for. He knew nevertheless that he had to inform her about his plans as soon as possible. “ Alyssa is just a young girl who knows nothing about the world. If I decide to get engaged to you, she will feel unsecured. She is in her

He took a gulp and placed it back on the table with a loud bang. “ I suddenly remember I have something to do. I will get going” Kai hurriedly grabbed his coat a d left without turning back to look at Quinn. “ Hmm...” Quinn placed his hands on his chin before knocking on the table. Two staffs entered the room and promptly cleared the dishes leaving only the decanter and wine glass, on Quinn's order. * Kai ruffled his hair as soon as the night breeze hit his face. He closed his eyes, taking in deep breath to steady himself. Alas! His heart had other plans for him. He could feel his heart beating fast like it was about bursting.
