All that Elizabeth wanted was to be beside Starvos and Dominic but alas the world wasn’t so kind to them to let the three of them together. Her simple wish was too difficult for the world to grant but she had made peace with it since her death. The only worries she had was of Dominic and Starvos’ safety, knowing her loss will create a big hole on their heart. But seeing how they could stand next to each other now, Elizabeth could tell the future she wanted seemed possible for her son. She gently kissed his forehead, then moved to Starvos to smile. Her lips parted to speak but as a ghost she couldn’t spell a single word with a voice. When she realized how her words couldn’t be heard, Elizabeth only laugh putting a rest to the words she want to say for someone else to utter. “Mother?” Dominic who had immersed himself in the gentleness of his mother’s warmth was shocked to see how she slowly back away. As he reached out his hand to hold hers, he found her hands around him had left his

The evening before, Isaac watched as the final blood of the royal heir have finally breathed his last and pulled his widest smile. He pushed himself from the stairs, looking at the sun that had appeared to greet the new morning and spread his arms wide as though he was waiting for someone to appear. But as he does, he noticed no one appeared that caused his wide smile to slowly fade.Isaac put his thumb between his teeth, biting his flesh in annoyance, “Still he doesn’t want to come out?” His feet that was glued on the floor began to step hurriedly. His master! The man, he had always admired, his god! The day where he could finally escape the cave that always bound him, finally appear! This should end his curse and allow him to show his mightiness to the world, but where is he? Isaac waited until the sun was high up, still hoping to the silver hope that his master will come after him. He had on purpose waited in front of the castle so his Master could come for him but the man remain

The Master who heard her words laugh. It didn’t seem to be his first time that someone had asked him such a question. He quickly reply with a wistful tone, “Well I love my people but I can’t see myself loving humans normally or other creatures as much as I love my people.” “How is that related?” Shawn inquired in confusion. “As an example, Mona could kill a human in front of me now,” The master pointed out. “I would never come to protect that human. I will protect Mona and perhaps talked to her so she would stop it but I won’t try to save them if she has a reason in holding a grudge against them and wanting to take their life.” Shawn tilted his head, “So why wouldn’t you help Isaac instead? Judging by how you love sorcerers more, wouldn’t you love him more too?”“Isaac is different,” the Master then said, “Isaac is a good sorcerer and a good person in heart but he wouldn’t mind killing his own kins now. In the past he wasn’t like this and I tried to help him and reasoned with him.

Rose didn’t respond. She didn’t deny either to hear his conversation that made it as a green light to Isaac’s eyes. As he was alone and bored, he decided to speak up, “You see, I’ve been in a situation where sorcerers are a mere pawn to humans. No one knew this but whenever there is a war, the king of Essex will send out not his people or soldiers but sorcerers who they could find. Our master did his best by hiding every one of us in the cave but that doesn’t always work when a sorcerer fell in love with a human.”Rose raised her eyebrows at the stories. She wasn’t interested but she was curious gradually from the informations that Isaac began to give her. “I thought most of them are killed.”“Some are killed some aren’t. Some who seemed to be easy to take control of and of course female is out of the question. My mother lost her first husband, my father due to it and since then she hold a big grudge against humans. She wanted to kill every one of them and due to that I was also subj

Dominic frowned, feeling an indescribable bad premonition. Was there more reason that simply her curse that had caused her to leave his side and for her to push him so harshly. He knew her well, and he also knew she wouldn’t have hurt his heart simply because she’s in pain That’s not the Rose he knew and although Mona said how someone could change after they had their contract with the demon, Dominic believe this wasn’t how Rose was. “You,” said Dominic as he stared at the Master and his purple eyes, “You will stay here?” “Of course,” responded the Master without a hesitation, appearing to have been waiting for this time. “I have told everyone to leave and I suggest for you all to leave as soon as possible as this fight between him and me wouldn’t be safe for other creatures in the surroundings.” Mona nodded her head as she also agree how this fight between the two strongest sorcerer will only cause for chaos that could destroy and ruin the entire land. It was better for them to e
