Jamari’s POV‘That is not the man we saw in the woods that night.’ Rieka tells me as we study the picture Levi showed us on his phone. ‘Are you sure?’ I let out a sigh as I pass the phone back to Levi. I really hope that Rieka is right about it not being the same man from that night. It is bad enough that Levi’s mom is involved, for his sake I don’t want his father to be involved as well. ‘Yes, I am sure. Whoever was pretending to be Levi’s father that night did a good job, but there are subtle differences that they didn’t get accurate.’“Yes,” is all I managed to say out loud before Remiel jumped up and interrupted me.
