Finally Pari was back at home and her friends had prepared a recovery party for her at Ian's place. A large board that read 'welcome home' and a cake with a note 'For health and happiness' in a messy handwriting was waiting for her. Pari couldn't help but laugh at their messy last moment planning. But she loved them for their efforts. Later at night when everyone enjoyed wine and beer, Pari could only sip fruit juice. All the delicacies cooked were strictly scrutinised by Ian before she had it. After a hearty dinner and a hectic cleaning session everyone returned to their homes. After freshening up Pari and Ian settled in their bedroom. While Pari scrolled through her social media apps, Ian focussed on his work.
