The snow falls heavily outside my window. It seems peaceful outside. Today is the last day of classes before the winter break. My campus will be empty by tomorrow morning. Except for me. Lily wakes me up in the morning at 5 am. We are dressed and loading into the car while it's still dark outside. It's a 6-hour drive and Lily wants to get there before noon. Her parents went up last night to make sure everything is ready for when we arrive. Lily drives for the first 2 hours, then we stop to get food and a bathroom break. I offer to drive for a bit and Lily hands me the keys. About 3 hours later, Lily is about ready to pee her pants. "Okay, you need to find a rest stop. I'm literally going to explode!" Lily whines. I can't sleep looking at myself like that. I'm going to have to turn myself away from both mirrors.I get up to leave to room and look for Lily.Three days later, Lily and I are hanging out in the enclosed part of the back porch with cups of tea, just enjoying the evening sunset. I can't believe I let myself get carried away with him. I'm so angry. With Kaleb, but mostly myself. I thought I had gotten over him. But I don't seem to have any self-control around him. I can't let this happen again. I sneak into Lily's bedroom quietly. I get changed and climb into her queen bed beside her. I can't stop the tears from silently falling and I don't know how long I lay like that before I fall asleep.The next morning, Lily wakes me up early. She literally pulls me out of the bed by my arm and starts stripping the bed down. "What the hell are you doing? And why do you need to do it this early?" I ask. "Well, grumpy pants. I can feel the blush creep up on my cheeks and I fight to keep a straight face. Did Kaleb just say that to me? He just threatened to fuck the bratty attitude out of me. Last night, I agreed to be Kaleb's and he ravished my body until I couldn't take it anymore. He didn't lie when he said I'd be begging him to stop. The fire had gone out some time while we were sleeping and I was freezing when I woke up. I'm glad we have the thermal sleeping bags. We had arranged the blankets and pillows into a makeshift bed on the floor next to the fire. I stand up out of the sleeping bag and I regret wearing shorts and a tank top to bed. It's so cold. I close my eyes, just taking in everything that just happened. I feel Kaleb move off of me, kissing my nose as he gets up."Come on beautiful. Let's go get cleaned up. The water feels good on my dry throat. I lay my head back down and thank her as she sits back down. "How long was I asleep for?" I ask. "You fell asleep on the helicopter ride and that was two nights ago. You've been in and out every couple of hours since then, but not for long." Lily explains. I nod as I look around the room.
