“Hey, guys!” I smiled at everyone as I took a seat at the dining table next to Archer. “What’s up?” Thea wiggled her eyebrows, looking between me and Archer. “I’ve heard stuff about how you guys caught Archer’s ex’s boyfriend.” She added. Oh!For a second there, I thought she heard about me and Archer being together… Thank goodness she didn’t hear about the two of us! I want her to know about us from me or else I know that I’ll have to hear a long lecture from her!She might even kill me!I shuddered at that thought.&ldqu

“So Archer left without you?” Lucas whispered in my ear. Ugh!“Shh!” I shushed him in frustration as I snatched the bowl of popcorn from him without even moving my eyes away from the screen. “Shh!” Thea shushed me, snatching the bowl of popcorn from my hands, without even turning to look at me. What?!“Shh!” I shushed her, snatching the bowl of popcorn back. “Shh!” She shushed loudly, snatching the bowl of popcorn from me again. “Okay, I’m bored!” Lucas groaned. 

“Please remember that I actually do love you. For real. And I’m really good at my work. And you will never find anyone even remotely like me ever again!” I reminded Archer as I looked at the mansion in front of us. This is happening!We were at Archer’s parents’ house and this was really happening.Oh god!I still cannot believe that this is actually happening!Gah!Archer was just going to take me with him to visit his parents the next month but turns out that his parents were actually hosting an event for something. So, they invited Archer to join them for a two-day stay. 

“So, you are Catherine Queen’s daughter, huh?” Mr. Knight, Archer’s father, looked at me with a raised eyebrow. Oh crap!This was definitely not going to be ending well for me…As proud as I am to be a part of the Queen-clan, we don’t really mix well with everyone. And since I haven’t exactly talked to my parents in a long while, I haven’t had the pleasure to know who they’ve managed to piss off recently.
