001. Painful Past

I WAS HUNTING A DEER IN THE FOREST when the royal knights came and killed my ill mother just because she was a witch. When I came back to my home, mommy was on the ground with a lake of blood around her. How did I know that was them, once I wasn't there? The bastards left their dagger made of gold in my mother's heart. Almost to say "we did this, now thank me for killing this witch, you peasant", as they did with my father when I was 8. I still have nightmares about that shit. When dad died by their hands, we moved on to another village, but they came to finish their jobs by killing my mom. Of course, they didn't know that my parents had me, so I am safe. And well, when my mother was killed, I moved on, but this time I left the Albtraum Kingdom and I'd come to the Dusk Kingdom. I live in a little house in the heart of the forest, far from civilization. I have four types of wraths, something that it'

002. Danger in Sight

I WAS HUNTING SOME SNAKES TO MAKE A STEW with the vegetables I found, on the west side of the forest near the lake when I sense a dangerous smell.Sweet but addictive, mixed with a bit of sweat and a touch of that metallic smell of blood.Away too dangerous. At the same moment, I sense a presence nearby.A fae male.I run away, trying to reach the treehouse the faster I could.I just pick two snakes, but it'll hold well until tomorrow dusk.I'm a nocturnal person, cuz the moon it's my favorite thing in the world and I don't work well in sunlight. But this isn't a big difference living here, once the faes are nocturnal people. I'm liking or not, this is their territory, they know this better than me.Even if just a little bit better. Now I think I'm safe. That bastard won't reach here.I climb the tree in a faster way, then I locked the door with something I've made three years ago and I'd put the dea

003. "Is this poisoned?"

"HE SIMPLY HATES WITCHES. WE HAVE THIS IS COMMON, but I also hate him, nobles, royals, and also the Fae."He smiled again."That's funny. We personally like witches. They are incredibly powerful and smart. Well, the Dawn Kingdom on the other hand hates them."I'm thankful because he didn't say it was my race, now that he noticed that I don't like them at all.Not that I would show it, of course.I took a deep breath, feeling calmer than before, and turn down Nacht."Now that you're calm, could tell why you came here since you thought the fae's here hated witches?"Good question.I felt the smell of my stew and run into the treehouse to erase the fire with my hand, so the smoke would not spread.Right in the time. When I was going down again, I found the fae male in my door, smelling my stew."Do you wanna?"I offered it, now that he's seen it."Is this poisoned?"He asked carefully, whi

004. Mondstadt

"DON'T GET ME WRONG, BUT HE IS THE MOST PERFECT PERSON on the whole continent, and I'm not the only one who thinks this. He's powerful as fuck, incredibly beautiful, he loves his people with all his heart, he's kind with who deserves his kindness, but he's dangerous as hell to the ones that messed up with his people and with his family."Is he... in love with the king?"And he also loves being a king, ruling his people, he dreamed of a beautiful civilization where this shit you mentioned wouldn't happen, and well, isn't 100% complete yet, but it's on the right road."He spoke seriously and convinced, without fear of showing how deeply he trusts his king. Not only deeply trust this king, he clearly is in love with him."You must know him well.""Oh..."He laughed."I know that bastard more than anyone."Maybe he's his boyfriend or something like that."He looks incredible, but honestly, it's almost impossible

005. The King

KAI JUST LET ME ENJOY THE VIEW FOR A FEW INSTANTS before opening another portal that took us directly to the castle.Well, he called a castle, but I would call a big wooded house with seven floors. It's strangely comfortable, but the most strange thing is that I feel like I was at home.I felt strangely safe. Not that I would ever say it out loud or demonstrate it in my face."So, this is the private residence."He told me."There is more than four similar at this one in the Kingdom.""It's comfortable, I wouldn't call it a castle."He smiled."Well, the King called this place The Castle. He likes comfortable things. And this place he loves with all his heart. There's a subfloor but it is a training place, and I mean the whole floor.""That's so cool."I said looking amused by the place."So where's your perfect King, anyway?""I was with you, do you think I know where that bastard is?"

006. Fair Enough

"WHAT THE FUCK, SAMANTHA? SHIT- CAN'T YOU KEEP A SECRET?"He yelled at her."What do you mean? What the- Gods... I called you the King's whore. I even thought you were his boyfriend by the way you talked about him. Why the hell didn't you told me you were a fucking royal, you narcissist, arrogant bastard?"I yelled at him, without even thinking."Calm down, little witch. Let me explain.""Then explain-"I yelled."First of all, if I had told you, you wouldn't come here. Second of all, you would probably try to kill me with your katana because I'm a royal. Third of all, you hate royals, nobles, witches, and faes. Four of all, I need you, so I had to do this cuz if you knew it, you wouldn't come with me. Five of all, again, you would try to kill me."He said in the defensive."You stupid asshole. I hate lies-"Even when I'm the one who's always telling lies.I'm such a hypocrite."You hate almost every

007. "If I want to be around you and pissed you off, I certainly will!"

I SAT ON THE COUCH ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE ROOM, a little uncomfortable with their intense looks on me. Samatha apologized for the rude thing before and offered me a bourbon, which I accepted. Being the first time I had an alcoholic drink, the burning in my throat bothered me a little at first."So it is the first time you have a drink like this, mhm-" she observed with a smile. She can be nice, but I don't know if I can forget how dangerous she looked before I left that way."Yeah. I don't know if your King here said, but I'm from the Albtraum Kingdom, I moved to the forest when I was 16. And I lived there on my own, far from anyone for 32 years," all of them looked surprised. "So I was unable to make or taste any of the pleasures of life, like alcohol.""You're just forty-eight years?" asked Kai, clearly shocked."That's what I said, isn't it?" I replied with my arched eyebrows, he looks at me with his intense gaze and I rolled my eyes."I th

008. The Halfbreed

"OH MY GOD- WHAT A SCARED CAT YOU ARE. YOU JUST FROZE, DIDN'T YOU?" She exclaimed, mocking me. "Calm down, beautiful girl. I'm just messing with you. I wouldn't be pissed off just because you made that question. But in the end, this is a good thing.""What is a good thing?""The fact that you're smart enough to be cautious near me. I'm not a person you would want to mess with. But you're lucky cuz I liked you," she said and drank some of her Bourbon, then she looked at me with a wicked smile. "You asked what the second and third in command do when the Golden boy is present in the kingdom, mhm- a King cannot do everything alone, baby girl, so we're the ones who help him with everything he needs. Well, I think this is actually what Koji does since he is also Kai's right arm. Now, I am the one who searches about the upgoing situations to help him, like the dark shit that it's spreading on the other races. I'm like- the brain here, you know?!""That makes sense. Can

009. "This is Yours, Avain!"

"I THINK THE BETTER IS TO SEE US IN ACTION WHEN THE TIME COMES. You opted to make a mystery around your name, right? So let us make the same around our wraths," I looked surprised to hear this coming from Boyd."This will make things funny," said Maelli. "It's okay for you, Ava?""Of course.""So it's settle," Kai spoke finally and with a smile on his lips. "What do you wanna do first? A tour of the castle? Go straight to your room? Know the surroundings? Or maybe eat something?""I see that you still have a ton of energies, I do too. But I think I'm just gonna go to my room, I need to think about everything that's happening and I need a cold and relaxing bath.""Okay then, if you need anything, just say it. Come with me, I'll show you your room."I looked at him with my eyebrows arched and he returned the look, offering me his hand which I did not accept out of pure precaution and care for my mental health. He rolled his eyes and walked tow

010. Quarrelsome Child

"SO, HE WAS A HYBRID?""He was indeed a hybrid of fae and witch!" what the- "And powerful. Hybrids are always powerful, but he was incredibly powerful. Her mother was a pure witch, but a high-ranked one, so she was very powerful like I said. That's why Avain is so unique like this.""I knew it!" he exclaimed almost... happy?"This doesn't make sense. If dad was a hybrid of fae and witch, he should have pointy ears. And being his daughter, I should have pointy ears as well.""As I've said before, they must have used some kind of spell on him, and on you," she spoke as if it were the most common thing in the world, and it is not."They wouldn't do that with me!" I yelled."Oh girl, they would if it was to protect you. Remember that you guys lived in Kakoi's kingdom, and what he hates more than witches? Yes, hybrids like him! And you are kind of a hybrid. Not a pure hybrid, If you got me, but being your father's daughter, you're like one-third
