[ STEFANO DE NIRO ]I felt uneasy at heart listening to Destiny and Alessandro's conversation. They share a pure bond of friendship and mutual trust but she had to ditch her friend because I behaved like a total jerk which compelled her to leave the safety barriers. She could had died. Her beautiful smile dropped after Alessandro's last words."Okay now we should concentrate on planning our next move."I cleared my throat to divert the subject for time being. They dispersed after taking my command.I walked over to Destiny and pulled her into my arms."Everything will fall on its place Principessa."I whispered to her and kissed her forehead aware of the three pairs on eyes upon us.I don't care for anyone,"You can go back inside the room and do not leave it unless I call for you hmm."I said to her in a serious tone. She wasn't safe anywhere or it was my paranoia after loosing her under my nose."I want to stay here and watch you guys work.I'll feel bored in the confinement of the four w

[ DESTINY CARTER ]"You go first."I blinked my happy tears and told Luca to meet his wife and babies first as it was the most memorable moment for them and I couldn't ruin it by my presence though I wouldn't wait for long."You can come with me,"He looked hesitant."No its alright Luca, its your family time hmm now go inside."I pushed him lightly towards the maternity ward.He smiled at me and wasted no time in dashing inside.I slouched my shoulders in great relief as the worries for Maisie and her babies had been killing me since I heard Stefano's conversation with Luca. Now what about Povetta? The thought made me frown. She is also heavily pregnant and all alone in Madrid. We are hiding like rats in the most secured places still feel paranoid then what about her safety.I need to talk to Stefano.I rose from the waiting chair and decided to look for Stefano who had been missing for hours but he,himself appeared in front of me."Where is Luca?"He asked with a frown."Inside the ward

[ DESTINY CARTER ]I fluttered open my eyes and again closed them instantly as the sharp pain in my head and bright light couldn't let me adjust my frail vision. My whole body was paining like someone pierced a thousand needles in my entire body specially my abdomen area,my throat was dry and burning.I couldn't move my legs.I made a few more attempts to open my eyes and look around my surroundings and finally I did it.I found myself lying on a hospital bed,the room was small,in hospital gown, many tubed attached to my body and a pure white room with blue drapes. All I remember the last night, the car was moving very slowly against the disastrous winds,I was only praying to reach at village safely when all of a sudden another car bumped into our car before our driver could proceed it hit us again, startled by the unexpected attack on us,the driver lost the control of steering wheel and next I remember Stefano pushing me off the slopes as Cassius attacked on us.He promised to come

[ STEFANO DE NIRO ]I sat absent-minded in the balcony of the two storey house of Luca's parents staring down through gazebo down at the tight security of my men, covering the whole area that even if a fly wants to pass,it couldn't without getting aimed by their alarmed guns. But what is the point of all this now.Luca is gone now.I felt my heart clench everytime I recalled his dying body in my arms, blood oozing out of his body. Why?To save me of coarse.I didn't feel like a weak coward man in my whole life before. The man who understood me like no one did has gone forever. My grip tightened around the cup I hold resulting it to break into pieces and I felt some shards piercing through my palm. But the pain was nothing compared to the ache inside of me."Stef what the hell are you thinking?"Vincent's concerned voice laced in anger floated into my ears but I didn't care to look up at him.I heard him suck a deep breath whereas he snatched the broken cup from my hand."Please come with

[ DESTINY CARTER ]"Come Maisie it's the time,"I spoke hardly as my throat constricted looking at a devastated Maisie sitting on the bench in a corner of the cemetery. She turned like a stone statue, after her outburst at the hospital, she stopped crying and didn't say a word to anyone. Today is the funeral of Luca.Stefano made sure that only the closest relatives of Luca's side attend the funeral to ensure the safety of us and specially Maisie.I sighed in dejection as she didn't flinch so I decided to shake her little."Maisie come let's say a final good bye to Luca."I shook her shoulder gently thus she blinked her eyes to glance at me with no emotion."I can't say good bye to him Destiny. He is alive with me here,"She placed her hand on the left side of her chest,"You should go and join others to ensure his final resting.I am glad finally he won't be bothered by anyone. We can spend as much time as we want.Isn't it the brighter side of his departure from this mortal world?"She sm
