A VOW TO HATE のすべてのチャプター: チャプター 41 - チャプター 50

LAYLA 34/60 THURSDAY I cleared my throat, riding myself of a small itch there. Who was I kidding? A sudden itchy throat. "Obviously, that's code for you to stay here while I go to another hotel." I sounded hoarse, and Aiden's gaze flicked from the receptionist to me. "You had better ideas. First, with our hectic schedule, there isn't enough time. Second, you know we shouldn't be moving willy-nilly." Really? Willy-Nilly "Knowing that you have a problem with words on large screens, I'll speak at grade ten level from now on. I can certainly understand." I returned his offer with a stern glare. Aiden was right, despite his silly last words. And the smug bastard knew it. "Fine." I sighed in resignation, closing my eyes while mumbling heavenly prayers. I heard keys jingling in my face, and I peered in front of me, taken aback by Aiden's face. "We need to rest. Big day tomorrow." He returned, pulling both of our bags before leading the way. I'll regret this. I can already feel i

AIDEN 35/60 FRIDAY If this were any other city or country, I'd be in an art gallery criticizing silently, and admiring paintings, but this is Hawaii. Father would have cut me off completely if I screwed this trip up which meant being locked inside the hotel room until the meeting starts and finish. I'm on thin ice with the Thompson merger going awry, and I refuse to give him a reason to bite back. Although Grant Smith hits back in the end, I'm delaying the inevitable. Our client called an hour ago, pushing the meeting even further. Layla left. She's not a scandalous face in the city. I stayed back at the hotel, counting the ceilings and groaning as I turned over the bed sides. "The city is so beautiful!" Layla exclaims, barging into the room with a small bag filled with treats. I groan and turn over, covering my head with a pillow. "I'm too excited to be bothered by what's going on with you. I should come to Hawaii more often." She quips, taking a seat on the other side and

AIDEN36/60SATURDAYHanging by a thread. That phrase hadn’t meant much until this moment. She pulled too hard, and I'd have cracked but she caved first. How delicious this night became. A brush of her lips against mine, a flicker of everything that could come if we both gave in. We did.“Don’t punish me again. I’ll lose it.”I warned. A ghost of a smirk crossed her lips before they parted and kissed me. We starved. I was, at least. We kissed like hungry animals, deprived of the feeling for too long, as though we needed it for completion. She invaded my senses, her tongue seeping into my mouth, bottom lip sucking on mine, and a whimper escaped her lips at her pleasure.“We shouldn’t do this.”She circled behind me, placing her unfinished drink on the dresser, then faced me with uncertainty.“We shouldn’t.”She agreed, blinking her lids and staring at the mirror behind us. She fixed her eyes on my reflection. The bulge. Our lips met again. The burn. The feeling of being alive, wanting

AIDEN 38/60"She is sober." I acknowledged as I huddled her back against the door, skipping her waist and reaching behind to cup her ass instead. I propelled her against my chest, provoking her to moan out loud. Was I a sociopath for delighting in my father being down the hall? Chances of his hearing were low, but still. I tended less to his judgment. Damn his perfectionist expectations. This makes me feel alive. My unrestrained hand drove through her belly, gliding over her chest and circling her neck. I thought back to the whimper I obtained the last time as a reward. It was even better when she rubbed herself against my thighs, moving at a stable pace, taking pleasure in herself without help from me. I moaned against her lips, thrusting my hips into her. She sighed, implying I was doing right. Slowly, we pulled away from the door and reached the desk. I released her neck to grasp both legs, tossing the paperwork on my desk to make room for her in the middle. Then we pulled away

LAYLA 39/60 TUESDAY Aiden recognizes photography. I thwacked myself across the face for overlooking Penelope's desire for pictures. The priest was about to leave for another wedding, and I didn't have anyone to the pictures until golden boy offered to. With a camera. "I can take a few, then set it up for one general take." He raised his thumb. The newlyweds were with the priest. Both of them were alone. Drew and Bella moved in. Aiden and I left. "Come." He gestured. I trailed over to him. His hands enclosed my waist. "Ten seconds." He spoke, tucking my hair away with a smile on display. "Thank you." I'd never known more gratitude. "Always." I focused my gaze on him. The flash creased my eyes and the picture printed out almost immediately. "That's it." Aiden relinquished his grip, leaping to retrieve the pictures we'd taken. "I'd like a copy of this." Penelope giggled, displaying the picture on my face. Oh, shit. Can we retake that last one? My eyes aren't on th
